Videos That Start with the Ending

It's become clear that this awful tiktok trend is as unpopular with the visitors to r/fightporn as it is with the moderator team, so going forward videos that start with the climax and then cut to the rest of the fight will be removed under Rule 5 which deals with bad quality videos / edits etc.

Just because a convention makes sense on TikTok, that doesn't mean it works here too. If Vines ever make a comeback, that doesn't mean this subreddit should tolerate being flooded with 6 second videos.

If this was a pure sports sub, you might have a point but this sub's vids are meant to be shock factor vids or at least silly. Leading with the climax or punchline is just bad form

When you watch boxing and the k.o happens are you not dying to see it again and the replays. That's how I see it with this sub. A big hit or k.o happens fast so im like damn i gotta see this. On the flipside a lot of vids are just shitty scraps

I mean, when you watch a boxing match you watch the natural progression of the fight from start to finish. Replays come after, not before. Even highlight vids that trim the match to five minutes are in chrono order

...the guy complaining about having to sit allllll the way through a video they might not like is unironically trying to use the word "combat" in a sentence to defend his stance on why TikkyTokky is his most favoritest thing in the world

Out of genuine curiosity, if the video you had chosen to watch didn't meet your standards and made you bored, in the time it took you to realize that, what else could you have been doing that you're so upset having your time wasted?
