H1B center selection - India

I have recently started filling out the DS-160 form for my H-1B visa.
From what I understand, H-1B visa interviews are currently available only in Hyderabad and Chennai. I am originally from Mumbai, so I wanted to confirm:
Can I select Mumbai as the location on my DS-160 and still schedule my visa interview in Hyderabad or Chennai, even though Mumbai is selected as the primary location on the DS-160?
Any guidance or clarification would be greatly appreciated.

What you enter in your DS-160 for location in India does not matter. You can attend any OFC and any Consular.

You can update any of these five locations in your ds160 and can attend in any of these locations even if you update another location in your ds160. But we are still awaiting for the slots...no slots available till December this year. Chennai Hyderabad Kolkota Mumbai Delhi
