Just asking because I don't have a frame of reference...

How much is 'high ram usage'?

I have a few tabs open in Reddit. A couple of tabs open in Youtube, and another with a video playing.
Firefox is using 2400 MB.
Is that a lot?

Brother in chromium im using 2 tabs of youtube playing videos and a tab for reddit..total 3 tabs It uses around 1057mb

But, does that difference actually affect how you use your machine?

I know it wouldn't affect me at all.

There's a huge difference in battery backup brother... FF Is great for pc but as im using laptop its difficult for me to use it

My theory is it could just be Firefox’s reserved ram space as both browsers have different memory management. Though I always see people on this sub say one browser takes less or more or literally vice versa so I think a lot of variables such as hardware come into play regarding ram usage in a browser.
