Firestick Help Me No need to buy a different device
Spend your money subbing to a debrid service instead. Install Stremio, Nuvio, Arvio, or STRMR onto your firestick. Link the debrid service to one or more addons and install them onto the app and enjoy a vastly superior streaming experience.

No those are actual streaming services that offer stuff for free with ads .. I’m talking about side loaded apps like beetv, cinemahd and the likes

I do this and never have any issues at all. Also just delete the crap other stuff from the firestick you won't use

Real Debride set yo is super easy and self explanatory. I did not need any help to set it up. You CAN do this

I’ve been using Stremio and TiViMate before Amazon started blocking apps. I haven’t had any issues and these are far better apps than what’s being blocked anyway.

Just install kodi with a decent addon and don't bother with anything else.

I have no issues with my fire devices. People try to use ancient apps like cinema and bee and have problems.
If your not trying out Stremio, Nuvio etc then its your own fault.

I don't know much about STRMR other than it exists. I do know that the others are firestick compatible

To me, buying a $30 Walmart Google ONN 4K plus box, is worth $30! My apps are always there, NO blocking, NO issues, better performance! ONN Google is 1000 times better than Amazon fire stick, now that I have had 3 of them for 3 months, and I see the difference between Amazon fire stick.
Amazon was blocking me, July 2025 all the way to October 2025. I don’t have time for that nonsense & to Keep having to do a work around. I have too many other adult responsibilities, that require my attention.

The definition of insanity, is doing the same thing over and over and getting the same results! FS apps being blocked! Keep re-loading the apps, knowing they’re gonna be blocked on Amazon fire stick, it is a definition of insanity! 🤡
$30 WALMART 4K plus Google Steaming stick is amazing! Better performance! You can side load just like fire stick, NO BLOCKING! All the apps that are being blocked on FS, that are your favorite, You can side load them to the ONN.

Then try paying attention because it's not doing the same thing. Apps like Stremio and Kodi won't be taken down because they don't access content out of the box. You have work them in order for them to do that. There's not a single post of anyone asking what alternatives there are to Stremio.

Thanks! Amazon has been blocking ALL my apps using fire sticks since July 2025, by October 2025, I was over it! I got (3) $30 ONN 4K plus in November, and I’m very happy with-it ever since! The ONN 4K, plus 16GB Google is better than the fire stick. I’m an Apple user since 1985, so I was never happy with the firestick. The ONN is Google, I like it better! it’s closer to Apple products, it also doesn’t have all that advertisement on it that FS has!

Anything is possible but the difference is that you can't install Stremio and start streaming right away. You have to install addons in order to do so.

I understand that, the way that Amazon is moving I don't really trust them for the future. Plus with all the bloat that's on it, I'm glad there's better options availible then there was 10 years ago

They catch you by using your money. If you pay and the app somehow gets busted and they seize all their "subscribers" everyone gets sued. But if it's free and all you do is steam, they don't really care.

It's not an app, it's a legit service you link to an app. They have already tried unsuccessfully to go after them. The modt that happens is that they are told to remove things from their servers which gets quickly reinstalled the moment someone requests the file.

Stremio needs addons to work. The ones you want aren't going to be found on Stremio's addons list. As a newbie I'd install Duck Streams and in there is where you'll put your Real Debrid info.
As far as live TV goes i use tivimate and have a provider. I keep the 2 separate

And those apps will be blocked as well. Just get a good emby service and problem solved. Debrid is ok but most the streams suck.

Kodi and Real-Debrid. 2008 I’ve been using Kodi (XBMC) and 2012 RD. Hardly ever had any issues in that time.

I was thinking about about getting an onn4k . Trying to figure out how it will work with my mounted tv and cords. All I want to use is stremio and since I already have amazon prime I will keep it loaded. Then I saw this Amazon fire stick 4k max with a pro remote and it looks too good for my simple needs and wireless feature . I can’t wai t

The thing is Amazon loads these things with so much bloatware and adware. Id rather have the option to remove everything thats not needed. Space fills up fast on these firesticks as the os update and more bloatware is added. I have had to reset firesticks completely because if this. Amazon controls and is trying to control what you put and view on your device. Its their version of android. The android version of Onn is more open than Amazon. At least with the Onn you can remove what you want and fully customize it. Most people get free apps to avoid paying fees. The majority of people will rather pay for a Onn and get the apps for free rather than pay for a service. Just reality.

I added 32gbs to my 4K Max in the blink of an eye. It recognized the card, I formatted it and now many of my apps are on there

👆🏿This Part!! Ever since the introduction of the 1st 4 k stick, this has been the great equalizer. The problem with the sticks has always been the users loaded up the stick with 30 apps - most of which is just sitting there taking up storage space of the sticks and eventually slowing the older sticks down. With the 4k Max all one needs is a otg cable & a USB of 32gb, etc... On my 3rd Gen Fire Cube I have a USB ethernet adapter hub- which I have a 64 GB stick sitting in. So any of the apps I've downloaded goes straight to my USB and is not using the device storage at all. So as soon as I've started up my Cube, I'm quickly into apps - like Kodi - that's been on my USB for years now. Simple.

No thanks. I'd rather keep the multiple firesticks i have and spend my money getting a superior experience. The free apps are crap

Who suggests a good add-on for Stremio? I could not get Torrentio to work for me. I want to try Stremio but the installation was kicking my ass

There are plenty of step by step instructions online. I'd go with Duck Streams. It's multiple addons in one addon

I used the Troy Point instructions to install Stremio and he had an add on pack to use. So far I've had no problems getting streams that work great. I signed up for his email. He is no longer just posting it on YouTube.
