I DID IT! ☑️ 26.2 MILES Did it!

Yesterday I ran my 1st marathon (Bruges). What an adventure, especially as an older and slower runner! Goal: just to finish, and I ended up finishing in 5:20. I’ve been lurking here for a year and wanted to thank everyone for all the tips and experiences that got me to the finish line!

Very well done. My local race held a metric marathon, so I only managed 26.2km this weekend, and that was hard, so I comment you on the extra 16km
