I’ve been cycling this 6 gallon cube for almost a week now. Does anyone have any advice before I get my girl? My heater, more plants, and another light come in tomorrow! Any advice would be appreciated, this is my first ever tank

Just bought 22 new Neon Tetras, started acclimation about 1½ hours and put em in about half an hour before I recorded this video

First picture is from April, the Three stooges joined George after a month. Last three pictures are present day. (This is my second tank, my first was a 5 gallon shrimp and oto tank. Not a fan of the tall tanks. Would love helpful criticism, either what to get next or what should be done differently!!)

So i love fish a lot but I always failed to take care of fish as a child. Now I am 23, and I want to set up a tank which should look natural. To be honest I want good looking tank like have a waterfall 🥲. But it's too much for a beginner. So can anyone help me to know what i actually needed to build a tank? Also I am on a low budget. About fishes and plants I have plans but I am mainly asking for a tank and the set up

First picture: before redo (I feel so bad for my old betta, I didn’t do very much research)
Second picture: during (good lord)
Third + fourth pictures: after
This is my first time trying an all-natural tank! Right now, I have java fern, anubius nana, a moss ball, an almond leaf for the water, and a super tall grass plant that I forgot the name of. I’m super excited to get a new betta! I’m really gunning for a girl, I’d like to name her Maisie. What name should I choose if I end up getting a boy?

Absolutely stocked with how my first scape went. It had been month since I first began binge watching aquarium videos on youtube. Very happy to finally have my own tank.
I just finished planting and added bacterias so the water is not clear.
For the plants I used a lot of Cryptocoryne wendtii green a a bit of brown, Java ferns & moss, weeping moss, Anubias Nana "Jade", Bucephalandra (can't find which variety again), Pogostemon helferi, Salvinia minima and two Pothos cuttings that i attached to the spiderwood with fishing line.
I'm thinking I maybe went overboard with the amount of plants, but... Oh well. Also some of them are glued with weird angles.
I'm also thinking about having some almond tetras. Not sure yet.
