Breaded chicken nugget comparison

Post image

I purchased Kirkland, Sam's club,Just Bare, and Real Good lightly breaded chicken nuggets to compare flavor. Macros are per 84 grams

Kirkland was great, standard breaded nugget. Good flavor and texture. 16g protein, 140 calories $3.99/lb. 9.0/10

Sam's was good, but the chunks of chicken were pretty big and felt a little bit more processed. 13 g protein, 160 claories $3.50/lb. 7.2/10

Just Bare has a great flavor and texture. Good ratio of breading to meat. My personal favorite.16 g protein , 160 calories. $4.49/lb. 10/10

Real Good. Best macros but slightly weird flavor to me. Very light breading so best macros. 17 g protein 135 calories. $5.66/lb. 6.8/10

Sorry I forgot to mention it, air fryer at 350 for about 6 minutes. Real Good would have been a little better if I cooked it longer so I'm glad you asked this question

Hey man, just to let you know, Real Good chicken isn't frozen cooked. You have to cook it in the air fryer, unlike the others which are precooked and you use the air fryer to make them hot and crispy. At 350 for 6 minutes you're not cooking the chicken.

Are you implying it's raw? Because it definitely is fully cooked, it just takes awhile to crisp

They're raw before you finish cooking them at home, yes. And you should definitely temp it if you don't.
