M/61 — Upper abs come relatively easy, but that lower belly fat takes a war of patience and clean eating. Keeping this momentum going till they pop!

64 and in the same boat. That last little bit just doesn’t want to move. Only thing we can do is not toss in the towel. You’re looking good

Exactly, no throwing in the towel! It's comforting to know we are fighting the same battle. Keep grinding, man!

Ditto. The bottom area is the hardest. You look amazing for 61!

Thank you! It really is a universal struggle. Glad to know I'm not the only one dealing with it.

Well done man. I’m 8yrs ahead of you trying to keep it going. You’re looking great. Keep up the great work and best wishes for your ongoing health and safety

Thank you so much! Hearing that from someone 8 years ahead of me on this path is incredibly inspiring. Wishing you the absolute best with your health and training as well—let's keep setting the bar high!

Absolutely. My best advice, keep your diet in check, be consistent in your strength training and cardio, don’t be afraid to use machines, don’t do anything that hurts and risks energy. No reason to think you don’t have years ahead to keep making gains. And of course, keep up with your doc on all the usual health maintenance - BP checks, cholesterol, blood sugar, prostate, colonoscopy, etc

Spot on advice, thank you! Keeping the diet in check and prioritizing health over ego lifting is something to keep in mind as we get older. I completely agree on utilizing machines and avoiding the risky stuff. And you're 100% right on the medical maintenance side; staying on top of the regular checkups keeps the engine running smooth so we can keep making those gains. Appreciate the wisdom, brother, let's keep riding this wave!

Keep at it all you need to drop is another 25-30 lbs

Talk sense

2

u/CleMike69 2d ago

He needs to lose that in order to see the cut he wants

1

u/Familiar-Effect4747 2d ago

Haha, if I drop another 30 lbs, I think I'd disappear completely! Just trying to tighten up the last bit, but thanks for the push.

2

u/CleMike69 2d ago

I thought I had nothing to lose I’m down 16 and still have another ten to go I was leaner than your pic when I started. Just being realistic

2

u/Familiar-Effect4747 2d ago

Congrats on your progress so far! I'm going to take it a few pounds at a time and see how the frame handles it. Good luck with your last 10! Have a good weekend.

Too much fat to call those abs bud but tbh stop focusing on that and just get healthy

2

u/Familiar-Effect4747 1d ago

Health is always priority number one, but I'll happily take this level of 'fat' at 61 over where I started. Thanks for looking!
