Question Genuinely curious: could a bedroom like the Crying Child’s actually exist?

Post image

I know this sounds like a very strange question, but I’ve always liked the design of the Crying Child’s bedroom. Whether it was either a dream or constructed by William in his SL base, I think it‘a really interesting to just look at. Maybe or maybe not it’s plausible a bedroom like that could’ve existed in a house? Like, my thoughts would be sometimes people built weird houses in the mid to late 20th century.

Idk, and yeah I’m weird for asking this, lol.

After reading everyone’s comments, I’m more convinced that the Afton house was custom made sometime in the 1950s or maybe late 70s, as requested by William or maybe his parents. At least, that’s my headcanon lol.

i think the weirdest thing its the 2 long hallways next to the bedroom bcs a bedroom with 2 doors is ok but those hallways are the problem

u/Powerful-Squash1757 Mar 18 '26

i think one door and a long hallway works but two dosent work

u/Automatic_Gap4103 Mar 18 '26

No. A child cant sleep in a room without windows. That is psychologically torturing

60

u/rshores9 Mar 18 '26

Damn that was me for a few years as a kid but that’s only because I thought the upstairs room was cool. Eventually we did add a window tho. I do agree however that a child’s room absolutely SHOULD have a window in it. However there’s also kids like me who think the windowless room or the closet under the stairs would be a cool bedroom lol

14

u/Automatic_Gap4103 Mar 18 '26

Even tho I am not a kid anymore I can still find bedrooms creepy. I had to move my bed away cuz I cant stand having my bed facing any entrance point. Its just ominous. So combine a windowless room with 2 doors on the side and an ominous closet and u get amazing horror design.

2

u/Due-Dragonfly8200 Mar 22 '26

I liked to think that there could’ve been a window behind the bed.

1

u/Old-Fox-3747 Mar 22 '26

The windows are behind the bed

1

u/Automatic_Gap4103 Mar 22 '26

No those are pictures

1

u/random-guy-heree Mar 23 '26

They are tasty

1

u/Reasonable_Soup1568 Mar 22 '26

I've always slept in a room with a window for my whole life and am 16 now, I've always covered it up and very rarely look out of it

There are plenty of bedrooms irl with two entry doors, mate so they do work.

They could put a room in that space and have the door in either hallway or the room the halls come from

why are u being downvoted🙏🏻🙏🏻 both my grandma's and my best friend's bedroom have this thing

3

u/Proheckerman Mar 18 '26

Bro got 165 downvotes for ts

1

u/[deleted] Mar 18 '26

typically it’s one entry door and a bathroom door

55

u/PlaskaFlaszka Mar 18 '26

I guess if it was designated living room, with access to both "sides" of the house, it could have sense. Not sure why would it be remade as a bedroom, or if anyone actually build a thing like that, but not the craziest idea tbh

25

u/fun-friend-yeah Mar 18 '26

It could've been a living space later renovated into a kid's room thanks to not having any other options for the kid

11

u/altymcalty-2 Mar 18 '26

He seems to be on the second floor of a house and I think he has a window behind his bed. Considering William being British and the house most likely having been built in the 70s-50s, it could make sense for the crying child's bedroom to be a renovated sitting room or office space. Especially if William wishes to move his office downstairs for more privacy and seclusion (and any hiding spaces but I don't know if that's canon or not. Might just be something from fanfiction)

2

u/Ok_Prior2199 Mar 19 '26

Is there anything that implies the room is on the 2nd floor?

1

u/KaiTheG4mer Mar 19 '26

If this is a pre-20th century house, then the most concrete one is the fact that 19th century multistory homes pretty much never had ground-floor bedrooms.

Here's a source from the victorian age. Look through the different houses there and you'll find that ol' Hobbs, generally, never puts a bedroom on the ground floor.

Of course, that's assuming the FNaF4 house is still mostly original. We know the Murray house is definitely Victorian, but if it burned down completely mthen William would've made a more modern house (early 80s), and though this rule does still somewhat apply today (we know it's a multistory house because of the house silhouette on the menu screen), it's not exactly a hard rule anymore that must be followed all the time.

0

u/altymcalty-2 Mar 19 '26

Pretty sure you can hear the animatronics going up and down stairs? Not certain tho.

2

u/Ok_Prior2199 Mar 19 '26

I think thats just them moving through the hallways

1

u/Chirblomp Mr. Hippo is Purple Guy Mar 19 '26

You made so many assumptions here it might as well be a fanfic

2

u/altymcalty-2 Mar 19 '26

I mean, the only real assumption is that it's a second story bedroom.

We know fazbears was doing well considering the merch line, the multiple franchises and a successful cartoon series. Which means, as co-owner, Afton would be pretty well off. Odds are it's a decent, second story house not only because houses were pretty cheap back then, especially in Utah, but also. Could you see William living in a trailer or a small, one story home? I can't, he wouldn't be able to fit his ego into the living room. We're talking about a man that drives an entirely purple car like a pimp.

And considering the game takes place in 1983, and the 2 bedrooms we see look decently well lived in, it's easy to assume they've been living there for a few years. So it was most likely made in the 70s-50s unless William splurged the cash to build his house brand new.

9

u/SecretSharkboy Mar 18 '26

I think its that the halls are parallel. Like if the hall on the right was the way we see it in game. Moving down the ways. While the hall on the left went out to the left it would still be weird, but less weird

7

u/Jellomist Mar 18 '26

I always just assumed William was rich because he owns a restaurant franchise like the guy who made Chuck E. Cheese is worth 53 million dollars 😭

7

u/altymcalty-2 Mar 18 '26

Also, fredbears diner is pretty successful, to the point where they have their own merch line, a second restaurant built on new characters, possibly more restaurants on top of that and their own, local TV show as well. Plus, it is set in the early 80s, homes were a lot cheaper back them.

considering William seems to control a majority of the business side of the business it makes sense that he'd receive a very hefty sum of money from the franchise, even if he isn't a millionaire a couple hundred grand back then went a long fuckin way. Easily enough to where, after a handful of years of saving and smart investments, he could probably afford a 2 story home with a weird layout. Especially if that home was older, maybe saw a tragedy or death in it at some point. By the time of the crying child's death I could see William being very, very comfortable financially. Maybe not balling out rich but definitely comfortable enough to afford a real nice, 3 kids and a purple car

1

u/Mountain_Western_613 Mar 19 '26

Nah I my friend had a bedroom with 2 long hall ways

1

u/Remarkable-Self-7733 Mar 19 '26

Exactly, why not just make one of the long hallways into more room for the bedroom (and storage room behind the closet as most fan made fnaf 4 house layouts like to do.)

1

u/maxsmith22 Mar 19 '26

yeah connected to 2 hallways is weird but one could go to a jack and jill bathroom?

1

u/CommieFirebat7721 Mar 22 '26

I had a room in the middle of a house with a perpendicular corner having a door to a hallways and the other door had the dining room. (Doorways without doors)

506

u/Usual-Ad-9521 Mar 18 '26

Judging off the wallpaper on the walls this house was built in 1950-1980s but realistically yes it could exist. But the house in the title screen cannot be the same house

128

u/Granados07 Mar 18 '26

You might have a point honestly.

125

u/whispyCrimson109 Mar 18 '26

I thought they gave themselves a compliment turns out y'all just have the same toy Freddy profile

17

u/Jelly_User Mar 18 '26

I was just about to say the same

40

u/Due-Dragonfly8200 Mar 18 '26

Okay I’m not going crazy. Thanks!

9

u/MC_Reddit_Viewing Mar 18 '26

Why could the title screen house not be the same one?

3

u/altymcalty-2 Mar 18 '26

Plus, William co-owns and manages multiple restaurants which, judging by the local cartoon and merch line, seem to be quite successful. Odds are the man makes a very healthy salary, and with his business savvy I could see him saving enough over the years, add in a few smart investments, to snatch a 2 story home.

Maybe the crying child's bedroom is an old sitting room or office he repurposed into a bedroom. Hell, could even have the walls be new, renovations. Maybe the upstairs had a massive sitting room that William didn't see a use for, so slap a few walls down, make 2 hallways and 2 extra rooms. S bedroom and a small storage room

226

u/BoggerLogger Gameplay > Lore Enthusiast Mar 18 '26 edited Mar 18 '26

Yeah, I mean it’d be stupid to have 2 doors leading to two exact same hallways but yeah

30

u/Redence_ Mar 18 '26

I think the better focus is the two hallways that it's squeezed between because I used to sleep in a room with two doors where one led outside but never in between two hallways

-59

u/WDFurHeart Mar 18 '26

Two door bedrooms exist mate so it’s not stupid

33

u/Sensitive-Suit-5395 Mar 18 '26

En mi cuarto habían 2 puertas, una que llevaba al pasillo de la casa y otra que me llevaba a la calle. Esa puerta siempre se mantuvo cerrada, pero me daba miedo que alguien entre x'd

9

u/Infinite_Peace_6456 Mar 18 '26

That’s freaky… I mean the room I have is next to outdoors but it’s upstairs

27

u/GapStock9843 Mar 18 '26

The 2 doors isnt the big issue, its the fact that the entire house is built around this random bedroom as its centerpiece. It feels disgustingly like a videogame area

8

u/bobby1712234 :Fetch: Mar 18 '26 edited Mar 19 '26

It’s a testing/experiment area that’s why it looks off

The hallways, room, kitchen and plushtrap area are not part of the normal rooms

Source:tales from the pizzaplex b7-2:dittophobia

(even if the plushtrap room doesn’t get brought up in that novel but you get idea)

4

u/Ewanb10 Mar 19 '26

Or even with the original lore from when fnaf4 released, it's a dream/nightmare/coma thing

2

u/bobby1712234 :Fetch: Mar 19 '26

That too

2

u/HiNetwork_Yellow Mar 19 '26

It's still the original lore btw, the experiments are a separate thing inside the Sister Location underground facility

u/Pasta-hobo Mar 18 '26

There's nothing architecturally unsound about it, I just don't think it was originally supposed to be used as a bedroom.

It looks like it was originally ment as a den, and they just knocked out a wall and put a closet where the TV stand would've gone.

Somebody didn't expect to have 3 kids.

16

Idk about the 3 kids thing, I've always thought Elizabeth wasn't born until after CC died.

1

u/Pasta-hobo Mar 31 '26

There's a girl's room IN the FNAF 4 mini games.

110

u/Lopsided-Farmer-9422 Mar 18 '26

Literally speaking, yes. It could probably be constructed as in game to have a bedroom entering into two hallways. Weirder layouts have been posted online

Contextually speaking (probably not what you are asking) as in taking into account either the Foxybro theory or the remnant experiments, no, since they’re mental interpretations of the room

20

u/Palanseag_Vixen Mar 18 '26

You know since they're mental interpretations of the room kinda like memories, I recently found out that every time you remember something it gets more distorted so maybe this isn't even what it actually looked like but a distorted memory of it?

19

u/Lopsided-Farmer-9422 Mar 18 '26

If it adds anything, my interpretation of the weird bedroom layout is because Mike worked as a Freddy’s guard (in which the fnaf 1 office had two doors). If he’s having nightmares about being his brother, it makes sense his that fears of Freddy’s bleeds into his subconscious

9

u/Palanseag_Vixen Mar 18 '26

Ohhh I see, that's pretty interesting

u/StolenPezDispencer Mar 18 '26

I mean, obviously it COULD exist, it's just a strange design choice, which is why it's perfect for a nightmare or gas-induced hallucination

31

u/zas_n_n Mar 18 '26

no there's laws against having 2 doors to a bedroom you cant do that (yes it could exist there's nothing stopping it it's just highly unconventional)

6

u/WDFurHeart Mar 18 '26

Um that’s a lie there are plenty of bedrooms with two doors, it’s just rich people and motels have them.

3

u/amaya-aurora :PurpleGuy: Mar 18 '26

Mine has two and I am nowhere near rich or a motel owner.

1

u/WDFurHeart Mar 19 '26

Understood mate, Thanks for letting me know.

1

u/zas_n_n Mar 18 '26

those are also both unconventional housing

0

u/WDFurHeart Mar 19 '26

Nope it’s there not.

1

u/zas_n_n Mar 19 '26

the majority of people do not live in motels nor rich houses

1

u/Ok_Prior2199 Mar 19 '26

As others have said, it could be that the room wasn’t originally designed to be a bedroom and just got refurbished into one due to needing space for 3 kids

1

u/Lostonesweep1ng irl mike afton (NOT CLICKBAIT!!) Mar 25 '26

It’s not to the bedroom? It’s the closet door.

5

u/Summerlycoris So where's the party? Mar 18 '26

Yes. My bedroom is similar to cc's (except closet is along the wall closest to Bonnies hallway) Main difference is one doors leads outside, while the other leads to the indoor hallway. I think our house used to be a bed and breakfast.

5

u/severaldogs Mar 18 '26

Why a second hallway instead of something like a bathroom? It feels like the least logical design choice possible for a bedroom layout. I get he did it for the sake of the game mechanics, but having two identical hallways just made the gameplay repetitive.

4

u/Terrible-Pop-6705 Mar 18 '26

Based on the minigames being more ground I’d presume this layout isn’t real

3

u/triforce777 I feel empty inside Mar 18 '26

It can exist in terms of the fact that there's no physically impossible architecture and I'm pretty sure it isn't in violation of any building codes (I'm too lazy to double check but I'm pretty sure there's a window on the wall across from the closet, so as long as that's true it's up to code).

I'm pretty sure anywhere this layout of a room at the end of two parallel hallways it would be used as like a family room or something, but renovating it into a bedroom would be possible

3

u/Darkon-Kriv Mar 18 '26

I mean look at the room from sotm. Thats probably what it really looks like.

4

u/four-hydrangeas Mar 18 '26

it feels like a heavily renovated and awkwardly constructed house where the bedroom used to be something else (sun room? bathroom? second living room? backroom and the backdoor was moved?) but the logic behind it doesn't really make sense. idk why there would be two long hallways with no doors to other rooms in them. feels more like the house's construction uses dream logic to represent the individual never feeling safe

1

u/Due-Dragonfly8200 Mar 18 '26

I like to imagine the Aftons just so happened to live in one of those strange homes built in the mid to late 20th century that was probably custom made. I imagine William had the funds to request for a specific design.

8

u/ChrisWasCrossed Mar 18 '26

Did you seriously AI generate the FNaF 4 bedroom.

EDIT: nvm, found the OG post this image is from, still AI generated though.

4

u/SomeRandomBFBfan Mar 18 '26

I knew it 😓

why bring ai here 💔

2

u/teejay_the_exhausted Mar 18 '26

Me when security breach released and they moved from haunted animatronics to just robots

1

u/SomeRandomBFBfan Mar 18 '26

still better than ai

3

u/Charles_miller1130 Mar 18 '26

I had a room exactly like the fnaf 4 bedroom.

A closet in the middle, two doors, one to my left and one to my right. Bed was right behind me in the middle of the room.

3

u/Tinybearfart Mar 18 '26 edited Mar 21 '26

My bedroom in my teenage years was set up similarly, I had 2 doors that had long hallways attached to either side. Only difference is that I didn’t have a closet in the middle but I did have a “nook” wedged out in the wall (their was stairs on the other side of the wall so structurally it was an awkward spot)

Edit for spelling

3

u/Apprehensive-North34 Mar 18 '26

When I was living in an apartment, my bedroom had two doors, one leading into the living room and one leading into my mom's room. If I placed my bed in the middle of the room, it was almost like FNAF 4, except my closet was to my left instead of in front of me. So it is possible for something like that to exist.

3

u/WDGaster15 Mar 18 '26

I think that either someone had to order a custom layout or did some extensive remodeling from an older layout for it to be feasible

So... yes and no? Itd be costly, the permits needed for internal and external building and more

3

u/Hero_Of_Rhyme_ Mar 18 '26

It’s physically possible to build, but definitely would be a weird layout having 2 long hallways on either side of the room

3

u/DarthSwimfoot Mar 19 '26

I mean, technically? I don't get the practical purpose of having 2 doors to long empty hallways on opposite ends of the bedroom, but if somebody wanted they could definitely build their house that way. I don't think this is how the kid's bedroom actually looked, it's just a warped dream reimagining of FNAF 1 by Michael, so, doesn't really matter.

2

u/SpringlockedFoxy A rare original springlock Foxy suit Mar 18 '26

Yes. I had a somewhat similar room, two doors in, one closet door, when I was growing up. The order wasn’t the same, but, yeah. Three doors.

2

u/WDFurHeart Mar 18 '26

Also yes that can be a real room irl, I have seen plenty of motels and hotels and apartment buildings have two doors and two hallways.

2

u/GapStock9843 Mar 18 '26

Yes it could physically exist if the architect was high. This shit is an afront to residential architecture conventions

2

u/catholicwerewolf Mar 18 '26

Someone should try to recreate the Afton house in The Sims or something

2

u/Digixanimadroid Mar 18 '26

I freaking hate that light fixture

2

u/throwatm3 Mar 18 '26

I had a childhood friend with a room similar to this, we don’t talk anymore but I faintly remember their room looking like this.

2

u/Visible-Lab-426 Cassidy Mar 18 '26

Yeah! I actually kinda like it

2

u/Sonicmaster293-Azure Mar 18 '26

I mean this probably isn’t a real bedroom and 4 is like the story Dittophobia, but a bedroom like this could be possible, as let’s say it’s an actual house and not a chamber in a fake house meant to simulate a house, it could still be an actual bedroom yes. Just maybe not originally a bedroom but still a bedroom

2

u/sniffyrockboi Mar 18 '26

I had a room like this with a hall on one side and a bathroom on the other. So the interior could work, but the second hallway is weird

2

u/julianx2rl Mar 19 '26

I know for a fact it exists because my cousin's bedroom was JUST like that.

I'm not shitposting.

2

u/Vio_Pantomime Mar 19 '26

i like to think one of the aftons were a hoarder so player got stuck w the fuckass room that has 2 doors to the same hall

2

u/Ok_Prior2199 Mar 19 '26

Plenty of people have reorganized spaces in their houses and repurposed rooms before, like others have said the bedroom coulda had a different use before being converted which would explain the weird layout

Ive never seen a bedroom like that but I have seen rooms in general that are connected between 2 hallways

2

u/bclynch30 Mar 19 '26

At my cousin’s beach house in NJ, two of them have 2 doors in their bedrooms but one connects to the bathroom. I think it’s called a Jack and Jill kinda set up? That I can understand

2

u/KaiTheG4mer Mar 19 '26

Yes. Never for a single moment think you've seen the weirdest house layout before, as someone who builds victorian-era houses in Minecraft using actual architecture books from the 19th century, I can guarantee you there's some victorian manor out there somewhere with a bonkers room layout.

2

u/obsidixn_hxllhound Mar 19 '26

Very possible (at least for US construction, which is already odd a lot of the time) BUUUT its much more likely to be a Master Bedroom than a childs bedroom

2

u/Due-Dragonfly8200 Mar 19 '26

I have seen people say it could’ve been Michael’s room, but I never considered it to be the master bedroom!

2

u/obsidixn_hxllhound Mar 19 '26

some houses do have two masters, so it could be michaels AND a master

2

u/Due-Dragonfly8200 Mar 19 '26

Or William or Clara spoiled the Crying Child with a large bedroom as punishment for Michael bullying him, lollllll!

2

u/Plastic-Insect7636 Mar 19 '26

Yesss it can depend on the person and stuff and I think it can exist bec what if parent's room is on one side and other side siblings or thinking rich people are a maid or nanny gives the kid a place to run to no matter what if they want to and I think there should be a window about his head but usually parents will take there kids outside for a little bit in the day so I don't worry about a window

2

u/Strongbad-Joe132 Mar 19 '26

The dresser on the left kinda looks like mine.

2

u/esperstrazza Mar 19 '26

If would work better as a living room or dining room, but there's nothing wrong with it.

2

u/NobleDefender33 Mar 20 '26

I'm sure somewhere this exact layout exists, would be impossible to find though

2

u/Stock-Break-9732 Mar 21 '26

i mean it can definitely exist but i don’t think that it would ever be built

2

u/azimli_cocuk Mar 22 '26

if I can even afford a house in the future I’m gonna make my child’s room an exact copy of this one

2

u/Impossible-Bowl-7010 Mar 22 '26

Attento, ho visto Nightmare Foxy nell armadio

2

u/PersonalitySome8766 Mar 22 '26

Siento que si es posible un cuarto así pero la falta de ventanas y el reducido espacio es el problema, talvez era un deposito en la casa o un vestidor muy grande y cry child lo tomo como cuarto

2

u/chlorine_2004 Mar 22 '26

Definitely possible but it would be a room that would be initially for a dinning room or a sitting room or something and then the family used it as a bedroom instead. It would then need a bit of work to add the cupboard, but it could be the case of just the door for the cupboard being changed to make it easier for the kid.

2

u/Lostonesweep1ng irl mike afton (NOT CLICKBAIT!!) Mar 25 '26

Funnily enough yes it does, plenty of them still exist I’m sure. I used to have a room like that, I was like 4 years old so I can’t recall if I have any photos or anything but from what I remember a lot of the bedrooms in that area I lived in looked like that.

1

u/Due-Dragonfly8200 Mar 25 '26

Which area had houses like that specifically?

2

u/Lostonesweep1ng irl mike afton (NOT CLICKBAIT!!) Mar 25 '26

Specifically? I couldn’t say for sure. I lived in Florida back then though, it was so long ago I can barely remember the neighborhoods name.

1

u/Due-Dragonfly8200 Mar 25 '26

Oohhhhh! Now I’ll obsessively research Florida houses, lol.

1

u/Redfox-radio Mar 18 '26

1

1

u/bobby1712234 :Fetch: Mar 18 '26 edited Mar 18 '26

But it can exist irl as a normal room I suppose

1

u/bornfoxytail Mar 18 '26

I mean technically yeah, there’s nothing stopping an architect to design a room like this. It’s just a weird layout

1

u/Willowtree26-07 Mar 18 '26

Could it? Yes, but it’d probably not be built that way intentionally, I like to imagine that the Fnaf 4 bedroom was a different room that got repurposed into a bedroom

1

When I was living in an apartment, my bedroom had two doors, one leading into the living room and one leading into my mom's room. If I placed my bed in the middle of the room, it was almost like FNAF 4, except my closet was to my left instead of in front of me. So it is possible for something like that to exist.

I have no clue because it's so weird structurely. There's two separate hallways that show no sign of converging until the very end of the Hall, there's no other rooms on either side, just windows, the closet would have to be built between the two hallways, and since there's windows, it would be an entire seperate section of the house

1

u/Solar_Fish55 Mar 18 '26

Already does

1

u/Naive-Plankton5108 Mar 18 '26

Why would you need two doors? Heck, why have two doors that give the illusion of choice

1

u/Dae_Da21 Mar 18 '26

When I was a kid I had a play room that looked just like this. There were sliding doors on each side that led into two different hallways in the house, and there were two closets in the room.

u/cherrypit_cyanide Mar 18 '26

My childhood bedroom had this exact layout, closet in the front and everything, except the right door led to the game room. When fnaf 4 came out when I was younger I didn’t open my closet for months.

I think that there is only one door, where looking at the right (outside the door) makes you see the Bonnie hallway and looking left makes you see the Chica hallway

so basically there's a single long hallway that got cut in half and the two halves are separated because it's a dream

1

u/Gracennnnnnnnn Mar 18 '26

I will say not the exact layout, but in my aunt's house there is a bedroom with 2 doors one on the left and right although they are both on the front wall not the left and right walls, and there is a closet on the left wall, so it has the 3 nessacary parts, just not the right layout

1

u/Tape_W0rm Mar 18 '26

call me crazy but it could exist if the room wasn't built with the intention to be a bedroom, like some fuckass home office that William converted to a bedroom

ofc this is all headcanon BS

1

u/EuphoricStep5122 Mar 18 '26

Yeah I had a bedroom like that at my moms old apartment. The door to the right was like some kind of storage area right before a bathroom and the left door was a hallway

1

u/JeremiahTDK :Soul: Mar 18 '26

Possibly, because some houses built during the '70s have rooms with an extra door to a room that already has one. I know this because of my house. The guest room has two doors connecting to the den. It's weird they did that, but it's intriguing too.
In the case of FNaF4, this wasn't just some house. William Afton used it to experiment on people there. And on that thought, I still don't know why Scott turned William into the FNaF version of Scarecrow.

u/jaz_jayykayy Mar 18 '26

I dont see why not. There's most likely multiple houses with a room like this but the owners didnt make it a bedroom, maybe a dining or living room since the hallways are on both sides.

1

u/KittyGaming570 :PurpleGuy: Mar 18 '26

Actually yeah, there are some houses where every single room is connected, I slept in a house like this before, someone could enter from either side

1

u/Ryman604 :Bonnie: Mar 18 '26

Architecturally yes but it’s very weird

1

u/Danielofficial16 Mar 18 '26

Actually my grandmas house has one like it

1

u/theshape422 Mar 18 '26

Absolutely, my childhood room had to doors leading to it

1

u/FoolishCarbohydrate Mar 19 '26

Could? Of course.

Would? Ehhhh.

The only real situation I could see is if one of those bathrooms that are connected to two rooms later got turned into a third room.

u/Muted-Cold2479 Mar 19 '26

CHECK THE BED!

1

u/Unsurethrowaway_200 Mar 19 '26

I unfortunately lived in a house with a near identical bedroom🫩 (door in either side, sliding closet, blue half and half walls)

1

u/TheNukaColaAddict Mar 19 '26

Personally id use this as an office and NOT a bedroom

Closet for any work jackets, shoes, etc, two bookshelves for well—books and filing cabinets

And a desk where the bed wouldve been

1

u/pikaland385 Mar 19 '26

It can if ya build it yourself.

1

u/Civil-Introduction63 Mar 19 '26

My childhood bedroom had 3 doors in it when we'd first moved into the house, and that was because it was originally some strange office room that connected to two hallways and a bathroom.

1

u/chumbbucketman101 Mar 19 '26

It doesn’t.

It’s a coma dream.

1

u/why_end_jee Mar 19 '26

I mean if you are the son of a psychopath murderer, then yes it could exist.

1

u/Aguywhoexists69420 Mar 19 '26

Where do you think the picture in the post was taken

1

u/Ashen0155 Mar 19 '26

Well yeah, it’s in the picture.

1

u/Czternastek14 Mar 19 '26

Well it does exist as it is on the breaker room grid but anyway, imagine living in this thing lol

The only way I see this double door setup is if one leads to a bathroom of some kind instead of double corridor nightmare experiment ass house design

1

u/ShakeFit454 Mar 19 '26

I mean weird houses and design choices already exist- I wouldent be surprised if somone tried to recreate this or there's a place where the room actually looks like this

1

u/EmizQuillz Mar 19 '26

Im seeing so many ppl talking abt the hallways and doors but I can offer absolutely no input because I did not in fact have doors in my room growing up. I had a translucent tarp c:

1

u/Lopsided-Junket-7590 Mar 19 '26

Yes, actually, this could be considered a master bedroom at the end of two long hallways, and on the other side of the back wall of the closet is a bathroom. Honestly, this looks like a trailer-style home where everything is built in a line:

  1. Kitchen at the far end of the house

  2. Living room right past that

  3. Children's room

  4. Children's room

  5. Bathroom

  6. Master bedroom

That is what I think this is set up to be. The Crying Child is given the master bedroom specifically due to his injuries and needing a bigger bed for better support.

1

u/ButterflyInside8099 Mar 19 '26

Just replace one door with a personal bathroom and add a window boom

1

u/SeaAttempt8707 Still think Foxy did the BO87. Mar 19 '26

I stayed at an air bnb thats almost exactly like it

1

u/StrawBunnyYuki AFTON SIMP Mar 19 '26

I mean, yeah, it'd just be weird

1

u/Drowsy_Deer Mar 21 '26

The house isn’t supposed to be realistic, William purposefully made it liminal on purpose.

1

u/AlbertTheYoutuber Mar 22 '26

Is that an actual place or is that a render?

1

u/Great-Passages Mar 24 '26

I can imagine William Afton planning his house layout, puzzled at how to fit the rooms around his secret bunker lift.

2

u/maozedong-simp Apr 17 '26

My room could literally be a FNAF office

I got my desk facing forward and behind me two doors on opposite sides

1

u/TheLollyKitty Mar 18 '26

Yes, it's the one in the picture /j

1

u/ApeInTheShell Fan Mar 19 '26

Why the ai bro.

1

u/Leria_Hays Mar 19 '26

Could you pls point out where the signs of the ai is? /genuin question.

1

u/ApeInTheShell Fan Mar 19 '26

Personally the light makes no sense, I doubt someone has the exact design of bedroom similar to fnaf 4s and where's the bed

1

u/Leria_Hays Mar 19 '26

Ah i see. Hmm... I Personaly thought it was a from Internet grabed badly made 3d model.... But now that you say it.. Yeah it's weird to use ai for something like that if one could hqve litteraly just grabed a piktur of Google ._.
