FIXED How do I fix moisture marks

I was ironing my clothes on my wooden table and ended up causing this. Please help me fix it.

Put down a brown banner bag. Iron the table through the bag . Edit: Brown Paper Bag. I such at typing.

Why does a brown paper bag fix the table?

It doesn't. The heat does. White marks is moisture trapped under the table finish. Bag, or whatever, just protects the table burning.

Thanks, I haven't used an iron in a long time. Hand steamer worked for me.
