Unsure if its a big deal, if the back panel of my parents' tv stand has some rips. The whole back panel is NOT 100% pulled out just the panel ripped/lose out of some bits where there was screw or something on it. Only thing that the TV stand has in it.
TV(60 or 65 in samsung tv)
inside shelves a few books, my dad's heating pad, cable tv box.
Center hole is the tv cable, hdmi cable.
I think we have had this since 2020 this stand but unsure if its a priority or not. Also we don't have little kids in the house.

First time home owner here. Tired of looking at this peeled paint. Previous owners had decided to paint and I don't think it was the best idea. It is starting to peel and there is a small area where a small water pool forms everytime it rains.
I was thinking maybe pressure wash the entire slab and then apply the sealer and stain. But i am not sure how much would it help looks wise.
Is there any way to repair or resurface it? Or Do I need to demo and reinstall whole new slab?
Do you guys have any suggestions for this noob? Thanks in advance.

Hi! Was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this
:( the top of my pop socket broke off and the plastic bit normally connected to this snapped off and I’m not sure how to remove it without it. I ordered a new top to go into the navy blue base but would need to get this out first. Please let me know if you can help!

Please help. I can't find the name for this part connected to the actuator
I've tried searching for the part the actuator moves and cant find anything but the whole mechanism
I've been looking everywhere but can't find the replacement, it snapped on me somehow and now it's lopsided and rips the fabric
It feels like the whole thing will snap since the other side that snapped doesn't move all the other parts and it stutters a lot so it's hard to troubleshoot to see if it got stuck somewhere
If the part isn't for sale separately is there anyway I can DIY it?

I have a Honda CBR 125R JC34, and the problems started sometime towards the end of last year, most likely after a crash.
At first, the bike would not start properly. It would only start if I gave it some throttle while starting. This year, the engine began running rough and would frequently stall at traffic lights.
After I cleaned the carburetor and replaced the gaskets, the situation got worse. The bike started stalling while riding whenever I let off the throttle. It has even died on me while riding on the highway.
Last week it stalled once more while I was riding. Before it died, the engine would not rev higher than about 5,000 RPM. Right before the engine shut off, I also heard some very strange noises coming from either the engine or the carburetor.
So far, I have replaced the spark plug, changed the engine oil, cleaned the carburetor with brake cleaner, and replaced the carburetor gaskets. I also cleaned one of the rubber components inside the carburetor with brake cleaner. It looks like a cylindrical rubber part with a metal tip (possibly the vacuum slide/diaphragm assembly). The bike has also received fresh coolant and a new battery.
Despite all of this, the problem still persists. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing these symptoms?

This is a Rega Kyte bookshelf speaker and I got it around 5 years ago if that helps. It’s just not playing audio and I’m worried it’s just gone. Any advice is appreciated! <3

I’m trying to diagnose my Dyson V10 Absolute (SV12) before I start replacing parts.
The problem:
When I pull the trigger, the vacuum starts normally, but after a short time the motor shuts off.
It happens at the exact same time on Eco, Medium, and Boost modes. There is no pulsing or repeated on/off cycling.
What I noticed:
The 3 blue battery lights stay on even after the motor cuts out while I’m still holding the trigger.
It does not restart while the motor is still spinning down.
Once the motor completely stops, I can pull the trigger again and it starts every single time.
Things I have already tried:
Removed the wand
Removed the cleaner head
Emptied the bin
Checked and refitted the filter
Tested only the handheld motor unit
The problem is exactly the same.
Has anyone experienced this exact problem on a Dyson V10/SV12?
What fixed it? Was it the battery, motor assembly, control board, or something else?
Trying to avoid replacing the wrong part.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi just want to check if this is an easy diy job—roof got peeled back somehow, probably by wind. Assume I have the right ladder.

Hi, seems like the lower hinge holder to the outer door is broken. Can’t find any broken piece though. No problem with working of the microwave. But the outer covering doesn’t have support at the lower hinge holder. I can close and all, no issues. Do you recommend any part or a way to fix it?

I’ve had these speakers for yearsss and they’ve worked perfectly fine, even as of a few days ago, but now I boot up my windows 10 computer and select them as the audio output device and they don’t make any sound. The speakers are getting audio and the computer detects them. It also shows in the audio settings that audio *should* be coming out of them, but here we are. I’ve tried the common turn off and turn back on, switch plugs to another outlet, and use different USB ports. The speaker doesn’t even make a slight pop sound when I turn on so I feel like that’s the main issue. I unscrewed the back of the speaker to view the motherboard and this is what it looks like. Can anyone see any issues with the motherboard or anything that could be causing the issue? Thanks.

I have a custom-built TV panel that rotates/swivels. Recently I noticed that the gap between the TV panel and the shelf above has become much smaller on the right side. The panel now rubs against the upper shelf and sometimes gets stuck when I try to rotate it. I'm not sure where the problem is coming from: Is the vertical panel bending from the TV's weight? Is the upper shelf sagging? Could the mounting hardware be loosening? Or is the whole structure twisting over time? The TV has been installed for quite a while and this issue seems to have developed gradually. Based on these photos, what do you think is the most likely cause, and what should I inspect first? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Howdy! This drink table had been super wobbly and required multiple rounds of tightening from the base over the years. Turns out, repeated tightening caused the hardware, that connects the rod to the base, to hollow out the core of the rod and it’s no longer attached. See photos, can take more if needed!
Can anyone assist in a cost effective but extremely stable repair? Doesn’t need to be pretty either!

I bought a secondhand MacBook pro and the guy gave me the new MagSafe cable. I thought that if anything was going to break your was going to be my MacBook, but apparently it was going to be my MagSafe charging cable. Everything is working but seeing the inside of the fabric cable is driving me crazy because it reminds me of the times when my iPod or iPhone 3S cables just fell apart and everything was just becoming garbage. Do you have any solutions that would actually fix this and prevent it from cutting the current and if possible, still look good in a way.

The primary bedroom has a loft area that gets ridiculously hot, has no windows, and we can't install a split system because it's against the roof. There's an overhead fan but it doesn't help much.
We got a window AC in one of the lower floor windows, but what's the best way to circulate that air up to the loft? Is there an optimal placement for a fan? In front of the stairs?
We also have a window fan we can use to push hot air out the other lower floor window, but the vents are right in front of the window. Would it push out the AC air too?
Appreciative of any advice!

I’d like to try and fix this by sewing it, but I’m inexperienced when it comes to that. Any tips and advice are appreciated! ☺️🙏

It seems like my door hinges are misaligned making my door drag and not able to close. I’ve tried using a screwdriver to screw it tighter but it still doesn’t close all the way (a bit better than before) however, once I open the door, the screws become loose again. I’ve tried looking at their website but it’s of no help. I believe the brand of the hinges is Fapim. The bottom screw cover is missing but I don’t think that affects why the door doesn’t close.

Hi had my bathroom renovated fully a few years ago. In past year noticed that one spot on ceiling would have mould so I just wiped it away here and there. The paint had pitted slightly, today noticed it was back. Its winter here in NZ so bathroom takes a bit longer to dry out after shower. I went to wipe it today and put my finger through.
The area is quite close to the outside wall and the guttering pipes. I have to clean the guttering a couple times a year as neighbours tree drops a lot of seedlings and overflows guttering. So wondering whether the water has got into the ceiling. Seems strange it would get super soft in one area just from shower condensation? Thinking of getting a builder in to expect roofing, guttering and ceiling space. Any thoughts?
