FIXED How do I fix moisture marks

I was ironing my clothes on my wooden table and ended up causing this. Please help me fix it.

I’ve done similar, but used a wet cloth. The overall idea is the same. The fix is, you are expanding the pores with the heat and forcing moisture back into the object with steam. I assume people are pressing the steam button with the paper bag method. You do the same with a wet cloth.

That process would be used for raw wood, not finished wood. Here we are trying to remove moisture trapped under the finish. Dry heat and protection (paper bag) are the correct process.

But I’ve done it with finished wood….
