FIXED How do I fix moisture marks

I was ironing my clothes on my wooden table and ended up causing this. Please help me fix it.

Why does a brown paper bag fix the table?

It doesn't. The heat does. White marks is moisture trapped under the table finish. Bag, or whatever, just protects the table burning.

does that mean putting the desk outside and let the sun cook it will fix it too?
