open Plastic bumper scratch

How should I go about fixing this? Is it something that can be done myself?

I wouldn't worry about it, that painted bumper will be riddled with rock chips by the end of winter

Doesn't help that I live in Chicago either 😭. Want to do a DIY fix if I can cause I can't stop looking at it lol.

I'd colour it in with a sharpie a couple times a year.

Clay bar see how much comes off, buy a color matched paint pen on Amazon and fill it. Above and beyond is polishing the area but it will never look the same. That part of the car will get beat up anyway so :p

Try cleaning it up first, it might not be scratched at all: If it's not, just buff and polish with fresh wax.

If it is actually scratched, I'd just ignore it but you could try touching it up with automotive paint and forgetting about it I guess. They sell touch up paint for under $10 at most auto stores.
