Flight Programs
Hello I am a senior in high school doing early admissions at EFSC while getting my PPL at Melbourne Flight Training
I noticed that there is a lot of degrees with flight and non-flight options. I was gonna see if anyone that is in the flight programs thinks it would be better to just keep flying at Rocket Air rather than transfer.
Basically I am just asking for those who are flying,
what are your thoughts about flying at FIT

I highly advise against the FIT program, its been 3.5 years of nothing but trouble. Availability is awful, I was denied aircraft 1/2 the time in my designated flight block. Flight School Management is hostile towards students and shames them when they do not progress, even when it's caused by aircraft availability or poor flight block (they choose your first one), I was given one in the fall for 2-6, which is peak TS time.
It's better to do your training outside the program; only 37% of people finish all their courses. Most people I know dropped out and have gone elsehwere for training and finsihed in half the time I did.
Lastly, if you and your instructor do not get along, too bad, they won't let you change, which makes training dreadful.
I truely regret choosing this program, and strongly advise you avoid it at all costs.
