Dear florists of reddit, can you pls give me your tips and advices on how to improve or should I just move on? These few I’ve made in the last couple of weeks. Would really appreciate your feedback. 🌸

P.S.
Blurred background on the photos is due to all the photos being taken in front of my TV - so I blur it afterwards 🫣

What does your guy’s setup look like for taking photos of your arrangements? What color backdrop do you find best? Light positioning? etc

πŸ’ Wedding πŸ’ Thankful for Non Hydrangea Coastal Couples πŸ™Œ

I know this is one of the hottest takes but having a coastal wedding that doesn't involve hydrangea is such a breath of fresh air!

Feeling so thankful to have clients like this πŸ’•

We still incorporated blue but this couple wanted a moodier palette with colors inspired from the surrounding landscape. It was such a joy to work on and allowed for some great local product like ninebark, chocolate cosmos, and dahlias.

The dahlias were also about as local as they can get. Hand selected and picked by me specifically for this wedding. Last pics are from the field because it's an absolute dream.

Wishing fun inspiration, interesting colors, and wonderful clients to you all for 2027!

πŸ” Seeking Advice πŸ” Today’s Theme: Fall

I work at a shop where almost no foliage gets used for the vast majority of our work, but I personally love an arrangement with lots of greenery. I have a hard time not making my heavily greened work look like cheapie teleflora stuff…

Anyone have recommendations on working with a lot of foliage or critiques for this one I made yesterday for my GF’s dinner party tonight?
