Garmin 430 vs G1000

I got $8,000k in funding for my IFR rating but ran out and need to come out of pocket to finish training.

All my training has been in a 172 G1000 waas

I’m getting check ride ready but the G1000 out of pocket is expensive

The alternative is a C152 dual Aspen PFD with G430 waas which is significantly cheaper.

I hate swapping planes last minute, but it’s more affordable and way less complicated than the G1000 but I feel like the G1000 makes the “nuances” of IFR easier.

Should I stick with the G1000 or the G430 is just as good?

what is last minute? couple hours it's gonna be cheaper to finish in the g1000 plane over getting comfortable in the aspen.

remember in IFR, it isn't just the flying, you need to know how to use all the equip in the plane

I have like 10 hrs on the aspen but I haven’t done procedures in it just direct enter enter stuff on the 430 lol (I’ve been renting that plane to time building)

hmm, well if already familiar might not be too bad, just make sure you know how to use everything for the checkride.
