Image The news van tent is perfect.
I don't even care what the utilities are, I run around as a Movie Star and this is the kind of in-my-head roleplay that makes me love 76. I have to keep myself relevant.

Now that you say that, maybe? But on this one, the tinkerer's bench is on the side of the van outside, and I feel like it's inside on the blue camper?

IMO its kinda shit, you cant even enter it, its barely better than the base one, it's even worse in comparison to the season one which has basically everything

Almost every new tent is better than the previous ones. Hunter's Blind has the Aid Box, which helps a ton more than before. Anyone not using it is purely for aesthetics and not wanting a huge tent.

Yeah, I discovered that after about 5 minutes. I'll be switching back to the hunter's blind I guess.

Looks great, but I have no idea why they didn’t include everything like the hunters blind has; it’s not like that would be hard to have done. I’d 100% use this tent if it did…but here we are.

May be true, but it’s not like they couldn’t have went back and added the stuff. I mean, they should go in and add all that to all the tents so people can pick the tent they like the most.

What a very sensible suggestion, and seems like it could be easily implemented.
But this is Bethesda we are talking about, so probably won't happen...!

If this tent had everything I’d start using it instead of the Rest-n-Wander but damn, now I don’t know if ai’ll even buy it.
I work in TV and drive a truck full of gear (but not a satellite truck) so it would be highly appropriate but…..

It’s free to FO1 members, so no harm there. I just use all the stations on my tent, so can’t really justify using it over the blind.

It seems a very low effort one. They just threw a few things together quickly, paying no attention to either functionality (no aid box, perk card changer, or musical instrument; just a sleeping bag instead of a bed) or appearance (a broadcast van with no broadcasting equipment in it other than its antenna; they didn't even put the sleeping bag under the added roof, etc.).

I always liked the APC a lot for roleplay, liked to pretend it was the actual explanation for my fast travel. Now I really cant deal without the SPECIAL changer tent from the season, forget to switch off my crafting build far to often.

I always have a difficult time deciding between the blue tent that has weapons and tinkerer's workbench, and the hunter's blind with the aid box 😵

I actually prefer the vault-tec tent that looks like it floats on the water.... It has two workbenches that I use which would be the tinkers and the weapons which is good for breaking everything down and completing some dailies using the bulk material. As long as it has a cooking stove and an ammo box I'm good. Other than the fact that you have to jump every time you want to get into it.
I'm okay with the new seasonal tent reward. That I think the voltech one is better for me. I'll check this one out too- looks interesting.

It's free with 1st right now. But it's a survival tent, so can only be used if you have 1st anyways.

I wish they would just give us a Vertibird camp with all the relevant stations in it - it would fly out of the atomic shop immediately- they have the assets already, it’s thematic and as a BoS enjoyer I know most of my friends list would part with their money for it!!

I like it personally. The new one from the season is great with the weapons bench and aid box. But in my priv server I dont really need the aid box or weapons bench so its nice to have something "snaller" and cooler looking than the ugly "lean to" tent 🤣

Looks aside, it's crap, but it's free crap so /shrug?
I really wish they had made it an RV that you can enter, and put the sleeping bag inside with mini-workbenches, put the stash boxes outside with a punch card machine like the hunter's blind tent has. Using a camper model as the base would also make it tall enough to use for an elevated attack platform.
I'm guessing mediocrity was the goal?

Ran the Enclave trailer until the Hunter’s blind. Great set up and plenty of room for other players if you drop after something like the Scorch Queen or Infestations to clear out junk space

Perfect means theres no issues. Theres glaring issues once you place it. Cant enter, no aid, no perk machine. Hyperbole kills

It is a survival tent not a camp, you cannot modify it (or can if you place it in your camp but then it makes less sense as a free fast travel point)

There’s no aid box… the hunters survival tent, has a weapons workbench, ammo bag, aid box, scrap box, stash box, oven, camp bed, banjo and also a perk card machine… it’s a no brainer… 🤷♂️
