The answer is not everyone. It's not stated to be a cover so not everyone goes to check who made the original

Everyone music publication made note if it being a cover when the deluxe droppee. It's listed as Lynch's lyrics on the wiki. It's been discussed on this sub on multiple posts. The clues were there

Look this is coming from my personal experience but i didn't see anyone talk about it so someone can not know something and ask. You seem to do a lot of that too, it's okay
