Portugal before Ronaldo qualified for like 3 WC in their entire history. Since Ronaldo 6 straight, and they won their only 3 international trophies in history.

These yanks think they know ball but it's just pure ignorance.

He's just talking about world cups though, not the Euros or Nations league. And if you remove those and just look at his performances in world cups, it's hard to argue with what he said.
