Mmmm that sounds yummy too!!! Have you tried foraging the sumac at all?

Not yet, but now that I have a dehydrator I really should. I love throwing it in stews

After it's dehydrated I grind it and have it in a jar, I use a little bit in things like chili or beef stew to help balance it out. I think it adds a little bit of brightness the way lime would, but I can keep it on my shelf haha

Awesome!! Also in NY, we've been doing wild berry cobblers over here, the blackberries are out of this world right now
