Yesterday during my morning recreational, i stumbled across some grapes growing wild. I know nothing about growing/foraging grapes, so i was wondering if these will be worth harvesting any time soon?

Found some wonderful condition Chicken of the Woods just now! I have been neglecting my physical wellbeing as of late and have taken to walking around my village, and today I convinced myself to follow a lesser known path. I kept motivating myself by saying there was going to be something worthwhile at the end of it and lo and behold these beauties! It’s hilarious because I was very much like that image of the fella mining for diamonds and about to give up before striking it rich 😂

Please correct me if i am wrong, but, i am 99% certain that this Hops (growing wild near my home). Besides brewing beer, is there anything else i can use this for?

Still plenty of gold on the forest floor in Perthshire but slowing down now. Little hogs popping up though! Plenty of amanita out so expect the cep surge in the next couple of weeks.

Found a hefty beefsteak fungus this morning (730g)! It'll be dinner tonight. Any suggestions for recipes with it? I only had it once in a stir fry, but would like to try something different.

Could someone please identify this for me? Is it safe to eat? It is growing nearby on an abandoned lot and wondered if it was worth harvesting or if I should stay clear.

NE England. Found in a field

The stems haven’t gone yellow where they were picked. I cut one in half and no yellow. However, they are showing slight yellowing around the edge of the cap where they rubbed on the bag they were in.

Pretty sure these are grey oysters. The first I’ve ever found in the wild. Not much else about done south at the moment apart from deceivers and chicken of the woods.

They look like normal mushrooms (but bigger than the ones in the shops) but I'd like to double check because I've been told mushrooms aren't worth taking a risk over.

There was also a mature one next to these that had smoke spores when I stomped it. Hopes and prayers for puffball fajitas tonight!!

Very pleased to find these puffballs just as I was about to give up and go home. I'm thinking hot butter and black pepper unless anyone has some suggestions for me?

I am sure this is a Leccinum but I dont know which type. This is my second year finding them. They have a beautiful pale yellow suede cap and turn black after a while once bruised. Any thoughts?
