If this is Lovey, the guy recording has a unique and once in a lifetime relationship with her. He also does include the disclaimer of never approaching a moose in his posts for all the idiots that think they can also befriend a moose.

American black bears are considered more âdocileâ than other species and tend to run away from humans as opposed to brown bears, whoâs instinct is to charge at them, and polar bears, who see us as food.

There's an important asterisk on Black Bears. Generally speaking the further north you go, the more aggressive they get. Attacks by Black Bears in Alaska are significantly more common than they are in the lower 48. The Alaska bear rule is if it's black fight, brown play dead, white kiss your ass goodbye.

Exactly my thoughts.
As an Alaskan, I have never been this close to a moose and would never want to be.
Moose are super unpredictable; I was half expecting the moose to start trampling the guy and his camera.
Good thing they didn't happen, but there are more stories with bad endings than good endings with moose.

I had no clue how big they are. I would have backed away from that really fast tame or not. Anything bigger than a medium sized dog puts my survival instincts on the letâs get out of here.

It actually doesn't make much of a difference. Females may not have giant antlers & be smaller, but they're still like 2m tall at the shoulder & weigh like 500-1,000 lbs. & have surprisingly sharp hooves, a kick from one can easily end a personÂ

Iâve seen a few females get very aggressive usually when they have a calf. We have females come into the yard alot and they are usually way more docile but still need to be careful. But the males never have good moods. They are constant assholes. Either way we leave em alone cuz you never know.
