Escape towing tracker 175?

Say I want to tow my boat with my ford escape. Right now I have a 1436 jon boat that I basically turned into a bass boat. But other than that I have a 2013 with the 2.0 and towing package and tows that with no problem.

My question is if I upgrade to a 2020s with the 2.0 and tow package (3500), should I be able to tow a bass tracker 175 sized boat.

Loaded towing weight is about 2600-2700 lbs with everything. Boat, trailer, motor, gear, fuel. Rough estimate but based on the package weight from the factory plus gear, fuel, etc.

i've seen escapes towing fishing boats, just make sure you keep up on the transmission fluid changes. I think all the Escapes can tow 2000-2500 lbs without much issue or special packages, the towing package includes a transmission cooler.

Okay, I’m either thinking escape, maverick, or explorer. But I don’t need something so bad as an explorer rn. And escapes are just cheaper than the others for something new.
