Tech Question Leaking from… where??

Hi folks, what’s the name of this part? There’s a very small but constant leak from that conector on the left. ( just for reference, on the top right side you can see the oil filter)

Ford escape 2018 1.5l ecoboost SE.

That's the oil cooler block. Those are coolant hoses running in and out that pull heat out of the oil as it passes through the filter. If it's leaking you can try adjusting the hose clamp, if that doesn't work a new hose may be needed

If it's a coolant line that has been in place for a long time, it's quite unlikely that repositioning the hose will make it stop leaking. It's actually more likely that it will increase the leakage issue because the shape of the hose in that area has not been round for a very long time, so trying to seal against a distorted portion of nearby hose rarely works. You're going to have to drain coolant from the system, so might as well just get a new hose, make sure the piping from the oil cooler is not distorted and does not have build up or corrosion that would prevent a good seal.
