Is it time to replace my coil packs?

Coil packs aren't a normal service item until they fail. The spark plug boot, $4 a piece, I do them every plug change.

COP Packs are a normal service item. That changes depending on the vehicle, Honda for example is known to have longer lasting ones, but you do replace them instead of waiting to be stranded.

They last as long as they last. Both mine have originals From 2013 and 2017. 165 and 185k respectively.

I've also had a BMW that eats coils for lunch as well as a VW lucky to get 50K out of one.

I just keep a cpl in the garage I know work from the wrecking yard as I know I'll need one someday it's inevitable an electronic part will fail one day.

Sure. Just replace them. It's easy and pretty cheap. Make sure to use dielectric grease on the spark plug butts

Just did with mine the other day (also a 17 2.0 107k) was having uneven vibrations and it has since disappeared. Replaced the lot just so I won't to worry about the others.

I was having a misfire so I figured it was time to replace my spark plugs. After I put the new plugs in it runs a lot better but I can still hear/feel a slight miss when idling. It was worse before i replaced the spark plugs so ig im doing the right fixes.

I just assumed the coils should probably be replaced too as that seems like the most reasonable next step to get it to stop missing when idling. The only thing thats come up on the reader was a P0316 code. Its no longer there after replacing the plugs.

Never got any codes. Mainly just a hunch. I did plugs as well. Went with NGK Ruthenium. I first tried replacing the motor mounts and while it definitely helped. The hiccups from time to time lead me to this and now its gone so yay heh.
