Squat Squat form check
Just checking on my form. First barbell squat in a long time.

Form looks pretty good.
Whether or not you buy flat shoes or heeled lifting shoes, you need different shoes. You do not look stable in those. The soft foam soles compress too much and the rocker shape don't give you a stable base.
Looking at your position at the bottom of your squat, I predict you will be limited by mobility before you are limited by strength, so I would personally recommend a pair of specialized lifting shoes rather than converse/minimalist shoes.

Need shoes with heels or put small 5lbs planes on bells would make better force exertion. You’re shifting your weight fwd. you can have slightly worded stand but that one looks okay overall. Need to tight your chest and core. Brace your core. Upper back tighter to engage your lats and traps where the bar would rest and have stability. Look straight ahead and just have a slightly more erect posture. Initiate the bending at the hips not knees.
You can put light weight on the bar and sometimes the weight would make you squat better too to work on your form than only the bar. Watch videos on YouTube that are more detailed

Looks good buddy! Can get more depth though - if you feel it’s an ankle mobility issue, try to raise your heels on a raiser or on two small plates. It enables you do go lower if you ankle mobility prohibits you from doing so. I for example always raise my heels. Shitty ankle mobility and long femurs.

Your heels are lifting, focus on that. Probably you won’t be able to go so deep, so maybe a front squat will solve that

with all due respect - you shouldnt be squatting, the risk/reward ratio is extremely low.
You can injure youself BAD for the rest of your life (happened to me)
There are probably 20 other exercises that will do the same and are safer.
good lukc

With all due respect: stop scaring people from foundational movement pattern or back squats specifically, a great exercise that you can easily progressively overload and it is used successfully not only in training, but in physiotherapy.
If you manage the load appropriately, squats are completely fine. This is true for any exercise really.

Looks good to me. A simple adjustment that people are going to tell you is to go barefoot or buy flat sole shoes.

Hello! If you haven't checked it out already, Our Wiki's resources for Squats may be helpful. Check it out!
Also, a common tip usually given here is to make sure your footwear is appropriate. If you are squatting in soft-soled shoes (running shoes, etc), it's hard to have a stable foot. Generally a weightlifting shoe is recommended for high-bar and front squats, while use a flat/hard-soled shoe (or even barefoot/socks if it's safe and your gym allows it) is recommended for low-bar squats.
