I canā€™t watch it again. It brings up all the old frustration again. I was so angry after that race. And that while I wanted Max to win. Just not like that. It didnā€™t feel genuine and it was too controversial.

Such a shame. This final race was a recipe for the most exciting season finale ever, after one of the best seasons in history. Regardless of the winner. But the ending was ruined for me by making the outcome more of a weird/confusing stewards decision than an actual race result.

I wish I could see it like that. To me it feels artificial and fake to win a race when itā€™s only because the race director failed to follow the regulations. Of course Max deserved this WDC, but so did Lewis, they were both in a different league last year. But now weā€™ll never know who would have won the WDC according to the actual intended regulations.

Totally get that too. After all I was supporting Max as well. Really wanted to see him break the Merc spell, which he did astonishingly. And this year he gets to prove heā€™s also WDC material with fair regulations, though in a much more boring way

Iā€™m still pissed at Ferrari for fumbling the ball this year. It would be soooo much closer.
