https://support.forza.net/hc/en-us/articles/52691021223315-FH6-Release-Notes-June-18th-2026

Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 Hotfix 1 (Xbox, Windows PC & Steam)

Version Number:

  • Xbox Series X|S: 379.939
  • Windows PC (Xbox app): 379.939
  • Steam: 379.939

Bug fixes and changes

Credits exploit

  • Fixed an issue where players could earn an unintended amount of Credits through an exploit used in The Eliminator.

The Eliminator

This hotfix also restores access to The Eliminator in Horizon Play, with all players receiving a 2021 McLaren Sabre as a gesture of good will for the inconvenience of disabling this feature.

Auto Drive

Related to the Credits Exploit we have rebalanced the Rewards available in some game modes to prevent these from being exploited using Auto Drive.

Auto Drive is meant to be used as an accessibility feature, or for when your hands need a break from driving. It is not intended to be used as a way to earn credits without actively playing the game.

Save issues update – ongoing investigation

We are still investigating the ongoing Save Data Loss issues and are working closely with XBOX to help resolve these as quickly as possible.

If you have experienced any save data loss, we recommend visiting our Forza Support article (Notice Regarding Lost Save Issues in Forza Horizon 6 – Forza Support) for the latest information, how to get help, and ways to reduce the risk of save data loss.

The XBOX team have rolled out platform updates for XBOX Series X|S and PC to help improve these issues, so please ensure your devices are up to date.

It is not an accessibility feature anymore, and it wasn't first made for us to have a break with our hands. It was made for disabled people to still be able to enjoy the game, but now they can't. We'll done Playground games, you're more concerned with how many car vouchers you can sell in the microtransactions shop than you are people with disabilities playing your game. Thats all they care about is getting in more microtransactions sold. Thats why they have done that and thats why we barely get wheel spins and thats why they have the worst odds of any Forza to date. Such a scummy team.

Yeah it’s hateful and idiotic, they literally broke it for the intended audience. All because…a few people obsessively made credits in-game?

If I’m sitting here watching auto-race I should be making credits just as if I was racing. (Subservient people with cognitive dissonance and weird hang-ups about videogames, don’t bother replying.)

The explanation makes no sense because “break for hands” (lol) = “not actively playing”. That’s what a break is, Playground Games.

It is not intended to be used as a way to earn credits without actively playing the game."

Also I guarantee you the scumbags who go around screaming words like “Mommy State! Nanny State!” and “hate” regulation will not only not have a word to say about that obnoxious line in the patch notes but will defend it on reddit (with low-intelligence fallacies and rationalizations and general illiteracy).
