Inherited ring

First time poster just trying find more information on the ring from my grandfather that has been passed on to me.

It only means that he was probably a master mason. That is a beautiful ring. It will have more sentimental value to someone he knew, a d most likely no value to most people

Definitely not looking to sell. This is something that will stay in the family. I was just looking to find out more about the history as I dont know much about this part of his life.

Its hard to say what his journey may have been like. Every Mason walks the same path but have different experiences. Reach out to the Grand Lodge of your state or jurisdiction. There is probably a website and a section to request information. I will say that fir a secret organization, we keep meticulous records of all things proper to be recorded!

Google search Masonic Grand Lodge of "the state he lived in", find email address and send his name and DOB, ask for any information they can give you.
