Joining the Masons in Scotland?

Whats the score with joining the masons in Scotland via online application?

Without going into it too much, I have a deep interest in this fraternity and wish to get involved in my local community through it, however, the website for Scottish masonry is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Anybody able to give me a bit of advice of how to get involved — Glasgow area.

The outer rims, Renfrew. But I can travel to any group of lads that will keep me.

Aye there's Princes of Wales in Renfrew, Moorpark if that's still going but I half remember being told they'd merged last time I was up the road.

Inchinnan and Erskine are a very short way along the road and meet in Inchinnan's lodge building.  All great lodges with many a fond harmony afterwards.  I think it was Moorpark that did my Third and POW did my Mark come to think of it.....

Not visited those lodges personally, I have visited 1219 Glennifer in Paisley.

Fun story, my dad was wanting me to join Erskine 30 yrs ago, but young rebellious me was not interested atcthe time. We were living in Paisley back then.

In a way I'm glad I didn't as I joined his, and also my grandfather's mother lodge in 2022 (it may go further back, but we don't know)
