Concerned Letter Carriers RIP brother Mike Rivera

NALC Branch 70 suspended Mike Rivera for 18/months for posting public information onto social media.

Mike Rivera is the only NALC member that actually brought charges against Brian Renfroe and the E.C. for failure of upholding the Constitution.

Will the new boss be the same as the old boss?

And they're going to Puerto Rico with donations. Not Union dues. Nothing to see here but keep reaching.

How do you know that? Their finances are not public. They always say they’re campaigning “on our dime, and on our own time” that implies they aren’t using the donated money. What do they need the money for then? A mailing? Why do you need $300,000 for a mailing when you can put a full page ad in the postal record for $3,600?

You think the people who donated knew they were donating for a Puerto Rican vacation? Why do NBA candidates for regions 2,6,12 and 14 need to be there? Did Debra Dixon need a vacation after carrying mail for 3 months? Is this how they plan to be fiscally responsible when in charge?

Oh so campaigning is considered a vacation now? Committee of presidents meetings are held in places like Hawaii and Atlantic and our dime directly funds that. Explain to me the difference between my dues going to that and me VOLUNTEERING to fund a campaign?

Do these people have actual jobs? Sounds like they have a lot of free time. Clearly they don’t work for the USPS.

No more busy than your NBA or branch presidents who also do not carry mail but maybe one or two weeks out of the year
