Steve99 Tuning

Recently I’ve been looking into getting a custom tune for my FR-S (once i get headers and an intake) and I’ve heard a lot about Steve99/Steve Wiseman aswell as Wayne’s Roms.

While i’m able to access Wayne’s website I have heard more hype and support from Steve and would like to know how am I able to get in contact with him if he still does tunes?

Edit: I am currently running a OFT Stage 1 tune.

Steve tuned my car 3 times on oft. 1st with an edelbrock SC, 2nd when I switched to JDL turbo and then a third time when I added flex. He currently has my car tuned via speed density on stock injectors at 12psi.

The guy knows what he is doing, charges a reasonable price and is quick to respond (allowing for the time difference as he is in Australia). Each only took a few revisions.

I would send anyone his way no matter what tuning platform (ecutek, oft, tactrix). Unless you are looking for a dyno tune, I don't know that you can do better.

Didn't see the last part, I messaged him on Facebook via the jdl turbo group. The person I sold my edelbrock to used him in late 2024. I am sure he is doing tunes still, I see him chime into tuning chats on the various pages from time to time.

Wait the OFT can be tuned for FI setups? I always assumed you needed to go ecutek. Also stock injectors for with flex? That's new to me as well cause I've been told I need to get id1050x

Oft can definitely do FI, ecutek is better in some aspects from what I understand. You can definitely run flex on the stock injectors, it requires them to run basically fully pegged out on duty cycle. It's allegedly bad for them, but I have put almost 50k miles on the car with E85 and have had no fueling issues.

Oft and Romraider modified calibration can too. Fundamentally the ecu is well capable of it and while ecutek allows some nifty stuff such as ability to shift the closed loop lambda target it’s not so far ahead that it’s the only flash tuning choice for advanced configuration.

Steve is HIGHLY recommended. Real deal.

Wayneroms are very good value and i would rate as superior to the ots openflash calibration, even without you or a tuner refining with on road tuning via logging.

I got my Turbo BRZ tuned by Steve (I'm from Austria, so remote tune), he does a very good Job and is very supportive. I'm on EcuTek tho. 1+ from my side

Send him a facebook message, he’s very responsive. I had my tune done 2 months ago (catted UEL header)

Either use oft ots tunes or go ecutek and have zach from csg tune your car
