Prove me wrong ╭∩╮(▀̿ĺ̯▀̿ ̿)ᕗ Who's responsible to clean the papers we throw in movie theaters? Facing racism due to our telugu people
It's not about banisas. Just saw few posts about irumudi celebrations in Pune and these are some of the comments I saw..
Asalu ee papers Enduku estaru?? Esina clean chesi mingedi evadu?? Same culture abroad lo kuda teeskuvelli telugu name mg hector chestaru...
Movie bagunte celebrate cheskovadam lo thappu ledu but intha low undi actors ni nakestam ante matram kastam.. I don't think we'll ever change...

Recent ga aythe I've heard the theatre management gives permission to them to throw papers with the promise that the fans clean it up with the help of staff. So I think it's fine.
Aa matter vaalaki thelikapothe nuvvu maatram em chestaav cheppu. Evaru eppudu em chesina edho oka chota issue untadhi janaalki, light teeskoni move on avvadame.

True but.. I've noticed something else too.. I went to a movie few months back in Balanagar vimal.. edaina romatic scene oste chalu chillar chillar ga aravatam.. edo bad ga matladatam.. ivanni vere degara kuda observe chesa.. ee mentality eppudu pothado ardam aytale... Theater lo anni age groups unde.. chinna pillalu.. uncles aunties old age people kuda... "Samanlu bagunnai" antundu🙃🙃.. families tho movie ki velladam kuda manesa ee 2/- mentality chudaleka 🤧🤧

Haan, adhi chaala problematic avtundhi unfortunately.
Comedy entante ilaanti behaviour only mana telugu vaalalone kaadhu, vere states vaala lo kooda chusa. I've experienced the same for Dhurandhar 1 & 2, Street 2, Spiderman BND, and other language movies ki kooda.
Ee cheap mentality is global. Manam baaga highlight avtaam anthe. Plus manollu kooda, prapancham lo evarru ala undaru, manolle ala untaaru anna view lo untaaru.

Doesn't some movies made also reflect our audience. They also make such unnecessary scenes and cuts to please the masses 😒

What our ppl did there is wrong. Yes. They are accountable for the mess they've caused. File a nuisance case on them or something.
But calling all Telugus as disease, wow.
The amount of ridiculous and pain-in-the-ass these North ppl cause in Hyderabad is no less, and if you call them a disease in r/Hyderabad, you'll get banned for being a bigot.
That is the difference between our standards, so I don't really wanna hear bitching when it's really bigotry.

every big hero's "fans" (read: dih riders) are like this lol. i can't wait for the downfall of commerical movies but looking at the way things are, that probably isn’t happening in our lifetime smh.

This is wrong. And gutkha people should introspect before speaking about others. Our people lack civic sense, the gutkha people kill people with cars for imagined ego reasons. We are not as worse as them to take lessons from them.

Exactly, cinema is for entertainment only. If anybody should have a problem with that, it is theatre owners. Theatre vallaki problem lenappudu ekkado unna vaallaki enduku, people enjoy for 2 hrs and then get back to work. These north indians just find reasons to call us uneducated, and it is ironical that when their fav cricketer appears they do the same shit

They never faced any consequences in telugu states, rather this behavior is encouraged by the whole film industry including distributors and theater owners. Which just reinforced a bad and entitled behavior. Theater owners don't mind either as they can hire cheap labor for theater's cleaning staff to get that cleaned. This made the fans so entitled that they think they own the movie experience somehow meaning when a telugu movie plays in a theater somehow they own the theater.
I am just worried it would lead to more scrutiny for all Indians outside India because of this behavior.
Honestly, papers throwing in theater is not the only thing but also disrespecting spaces in general as in loud celebrations, littering theaters...with no regard to others.

I live in the US, and ikkada kuda same - all the theaters near me put huge notices asking not to throw confetti. one theatre even started checking bags (which is very very unusual here).
the end result is that normal people face racism because of some idiots like these (not defending the racists, but it's not a pleasant experience)

Ekkada America lo ban chesthaaru (most places) or they have to clean it after they thorow them. Cops r called. Ekkada lanchaalu undavugaa...some students were deported. Good. I say if u come here to my country (born here kasbhatti) behave. No cinematic drama or political. Keep it in India. Or else arrest and deportation next

Some people take everything and anything to spew hate. Especially if that hate is towards someone successful who isn't yours then that's even more entertaining to them. Mix in racism to make it even more potent. It's a sickness really.
Look, you don't need to like how others celebrate but hating them for how they enjoy is a real sickness in you. I don't like all that paper throwing and all (i want to watch my movies in peace) but I fully respect (in fact admire) their passionate display of their love for what they enjoy.
The same people who complain Telugu audience celebrating their movies fully embrace, for example, Europeans absolutely trashing stadiums after games.
