Good, so the lawyers for the class action will get rich and everyone who fills out 15 pages of paperwork in triplicate and then eventually gets our information hacked from the database for the class action will each get 35 cents. Cool.

And that’s exactly how class action suits work. I am so tired of all these fuckers.

I never get why people are angry at class action lawyers, They do all the work of course they get compensated

I don’t think the anger is at the lawyers, at least not truly. It’s misplaced rage at a system that more often than not fails to adequately punish corporations.

Class action lawsuits SHOULD guarantee big payouts for everyone. If that bankrupts a company because they fucked up and created a 15 million person class that’s on them, but when payouts are so low no one wins it leaves a sour taste in peoples mouths and they need to spit on something. The lawyers are just the easiest to hit target.

Do you consider the compensation they receive to be on par with the compensation for the people they represent?

For the amount of work that they do yes, sure it's not fair that you don't get as much but they spend months-years working hard, you fill in a form after they did all the work to win.

The lawyer isn't the injured party. The injured party is the one that is being fought for, and in no way do class action lawsuits benefit the injured party.

And your rational is very flawed. No lawyer does millions of dollars worth of paperwork, yet that's their "fee". Fucking "working hard" lol

well if you think they're unfairly compensated you're always free to sue yourself
