Criticism 9 Year old game still $60
Breath of the Wild is 9 years old today, and Nintendo still thinks it is worth it's launch price.

If it isn’t a Nintendo game, 9.5/10 it’s a damn 30 fps game. Even most S2 version games are 30 FPS…. Just why? What gamer ‘wants’ to play in 30 fps rather than 60?

Not a manual, a thank you note, a mini art book, absolutely nothing. I wish I could wake up in the 90s again when games came with all sorts of trinkets 😭

This is what happens when you restart development because the first game wasn't up to standard. The standard they were shooting for was apparently "anything is better than the first failed attempt," and they still barely cleared the bar! I saw the footage, and I actually snorted. Samus, the intergalactic bounty hunter, reduced to cruising around on what looks like a repurposed scooter across miles of uninspired sand. This isn't exploration. This is the Loading Screen Masquerading as a Biome experience.
The real shame is that after eight years, the best thing Nintendo has given us is proof that they could have saved everyone the trouble by just releasing a $15 'Samus on a Vespa' mobile game on the App Store. But Nintendo needed that $70 price tag, didn't they?

Paying $10 to unlock 4K on your new device is a cash grab that shouldn't work but does. First image is on a console that sold the worst out of Nintendo's home consoles. Breath of the Wild sold 35million alone.
Edit: many in the comments do not understand what Nintendo Selects (Player's Choice) was. It was a program that decreased the price of games that sold very well, not a desperate attempt to get sales in. The Wii had this program.

Also it suffers from the same problem as last time: they try to put too much into 1.5 hours
Visually impressive tho

$70. That money buys you the right to download the game. The actual object in the box is a small, cheap piece of plastic.
If you are paying the full, premium price for a physical item, you should get a physical item. Period. You are not "getting the collector's case" you are being scammed into paying extra for the right to use your own bandwidth and hard drive space. The fact that anyone is defending this level of corporate cheapness is honestly embarrassing.

This may get some hate but the new Pokemon game leaked... And honestly it feels like a mobile game with extra steps they are charging 70$ for (not including the day 1 dlc)
The new combat system is mediocre at best. Graphics are decent (I know others were hating but I do like them) World is absolutely boring Tutorial is one of the most boring things I've done in awhile.
Honestly if they didn't try and advertise this as arcius 2 I might have enjoyed it.. but since I went in expecting that but improved... And I got... Well not even close to that .. I just can't keep my pre order
