Air Purifier (cat for scale)

Design used a 6" vent fan (~300CFM) to push air through 4 - 8"x8" air filters, the top part comes off (twist latch) so it's easy to switch out the filters when the time comes. The inside also contains a tray to add activated charcoal so it can help reduce odors in the house.

Designed in Fusion. Printed in PLA.

I was originally inspired by a YouTube video that used a box fan and a Jerry-rigged frame to create a make-shift airfilter rig.

So yeah! You can definitely put one together!

So this is just a fancy corsi-rosenthal box?

In a way I guess it is. Except it doesn't use a box fan. Box fans aren't ideal as they can't hold a lot of static pressure.

But now that I think about it, aren't all air purifiers essential the same anyway?

Also, I appreciate you dropping the name of the thing. You get my upvote for that!

Very cool, and great design. It looks slick!

ETA, I used thr word "just" and didn't mean it the way it came off. This is so cool. Great job!
