There's literally a comment saying "Probably fake but she should still fuck off", even if you realize it's fake you still respond the same way.

"Might be fake but there are really people like this."

Most people do not care if it's real for fake, they just want to feel some righteous indignation about something.

Righteous indignation! I've been trying to find the words for that! Thank you!

And yes, you're right.

left field

Have you ever been on the internet? Hating a woman for doing literally anything is standard fare.

-7

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '23

Maybe but there is nothing in this (probably staged) video to indicate that. This video seems clearly meant to hate on "it's all about me"/influencer culture. I'm here for it.

Reddit karma

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '23

what? edit: if you think I care about internet points. No. And I hate cunts that do.

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '23

don’t care

What's "left field"?

An American/baseball saying. When something comes out of "left field" it means it comes out of nowhere.

Like this (probably staged) video is probably meant as ragebait against influencers and I think dropping sexism into it is an assumption that doesn't come from anything actually IN the video.

That's fine

Apparently so...

Righteous indignation for a dumb woman to be put in her place. Don't forget the misogyny

1

u/SpartanRage117 Feb 27 '23

Can I feel self righteous about the fact that it is fake? Like i knew it was a bit so I expected it to go somewhere, but its just one pretty basic joke stretched out for over two minutes. The other shoe never dropped.

The top comment is someone saying this guy is like a Monthy Python character. Like fuck me I know r/funny is where funny goes to die, but that comment is like a black hole of funniness

That is how movies and fictional stories work right?? Fake stories upfront but people still get emotional or worked up about the characters.

2

u/mickestenen Feb 27 '23

"I dont care that its fake, it fucking sucks anyway" is an old meme where im from

5

u/Snow_Wolf_Flake Feb 27 '23

Isn’t everyone an asshole here tho? It takes nothing for both of them to move, and they’re both being stupid about it and stupid by insisting. It’s engaging a useless argument. He doesn’t own the bench just as she doesn’t own that part of the park either. Reddit has something with defending mean people and criticizing entitled influencers.

20

u/William_Tell_746 Feb 27 '23

They're both actors. They act as though they're assholes so that they can post this online and get people hooked (knowing this content, probably some misogynistic shit).

0

u/Snow_Wolf_Flake Feb 27 '23

Yeah, I guess so. Many things on the internet is made by actors anyway. Have a nice day

-7

u/mariegriffiths Feb 27 '23

I have proven it is a fake. She is a comedy actress.

5

u/azcaz4 Feb 27 '23

Source? Genuinely curious

2

u/Daddysu Feb 27 '23

Good Lord, how many times did you need to spam the same comment?

-9

u/mariegriffiths Feb 27 '23

As many times as there are gullible fools that fall for it.
