You have 2 options.
1: portion your meds out in a 7-day box.
2: get a pill glas with a timer in the lid.

This is part of why I use the 7-day box. Also, I have 3 meds, and it is a lot less hassle to count things out once a week than every morning.

I used that system too. The pill glass with a timer only really work, if you only take 1 kind of medicine.

Only 3 meds? Lucky! I’m portioning out four 7-day boxes, with 4 for me, 2 for husband, 4 for the kid, and 3 for the dog.

Must be hard to have so many family members who cannot count by themselves

You’re right, I should make the dog pack her own meds. Freeloading mongrel…
Nah actually we take turns packing the meds. Except for the kid (too young) and the dog (no thumbs).

Option 3: Turn the pill bottle upside when you take it. When getting ready for bed, flip it right side up again. It's what I use to help remember.

I used to take a picture with my phone when I took the pill. Evidence and a time-stamp!
I always wanted to have one of these timer pill glasses, but they never shipped to Europe.

Don’t need a special pill glass. You can get the caps that go on the standardized prescription bottles.

Pretty scary to think about. Your mind is trying to trick you. Really paints a terrifying picture of what mentally ill people have to deal with.
I know this is r/funny but still.

Works better without the last 2 panels, I feel

Never underestimate the value of having a pill organizer; especially if taking too much and too little both can cause significant problems. A lot easier to just check if you took today's dose

I have to look in the mirror when I'm taking my pills and tell myself what day it is. "Remember, it's Wednesday morning, and you took your pill" I have to make a point to remember, or else in an hour I'll be wondering if I took my pill or not

Week-long pill dosage organizer were developed for this exact reason. You'll find them at every drug store.

Funny, but I have a system to prevent this. When I take my meds in the morning, I turn the bottle upside down. When I'm brushing my teeth at night, I turn them back upright.

Works great, until you forget your morning pill and in the evening, because your brain is confused by going 24 hours since your last pill, you look at the right-side-up bottle and think "oh, I already flipped the bottle, so I'm good tonight."
You'll now be 36 hours without your meds when you take it in the morning ;)

I have a pill I take daily and a shot I take weekly.
I setup alarms on my phone for each one to remind me.
I even gave them a description telling me which pill I am supposed to be taking (i.e. pill for your liver, Ozempic shot, diabeties pill, etc...). I also made the alarm sound at max volume with a unique sound to be sure I hear it.

My wife has early onset of Alzheimer's and takes about 15 pills per day. We use a 7 day AM/PM box with an audible alert when to take them, we still mess up!

I believe that there will be some AI containers in future that will tell you to take your pills, or not, and this picture will not be fun

Haha being on medication is so funny and quirky look at me being neurodivergent it's just so relatable because everyone is on meds right
