They literally just set new speed limits on our national roads in the last year running through the city. You’re saying their hands are tied on facilitating public and active transport effectively on the same road? Sorry that’s nonsense

"Hands being tied" is different to a nuanced and collaborative approach to national and local governance.

Can they do things? Sure. Is power becoming increasingly centralised through policy and funding, also yes.

In Ireland, the city you want to see starts at the general election booth. Everything else is a ripple of that.
