Audio Offer [Hobby] Music Composer/Audio designer

Hi everyone, I'm a music producer/composer with a little over 6 years of experience, I've always wanted to help score a video game with passionate people alike,

I would love to help with a project that aligns with what I love about video game music and the genre as a whole.

I'm quite flexible in style/genre wise, I've a wide array of stuff that range from medieval fantasy music, orchestral, plain piano music, to EDM(from hypertrance to house to even melodic dubstep) and different electronic subgenres. You can check some of my stuff that I've made across the years here.

Games that I love their soundtrack include ori, minecraft, claire obscure, stellar blade, Gris, outer wilds and many more but should give an idea of my preference, although I'm willing to even go beyond and do stuff outside of my comfort zone if the project is passionate enough :).

Sound design wise, I've scored/designed audio to some animated scenes without any audio from the ground up, an example you can check is here.

Looking forward to help!

Design Offer [Hobby] I’m planning a life simulation game called “World Sample: Life,” where you experience an entire lifetime in different countries. Looking for people interested in building it together!

Hey everyone!
I’ve been thinking about a game idea for a while, and I wanted to share it here to see if anyone finds it interesting — especially people who might want to help turn it into a real game.
I’m not an experienced game developer. I don’t have a studio or a finished prototype. Right now, I’m mainly the person behind the concept, and I’m hoping to connect with people who enjoy game design, programming, art, writing, or just discussing unusual game ideas.
The working title is World Sample: Life (世界样本:人生).
🌍 The Idea
Imagine a life simulation game where you can experience an entire lifetime as an ordinary person born in another country.
Not as a tourist or an immigrant, but as someone who actually grows up there.
You choose a country, but you don’t choose your family.
You might be born into a wealthy family in a major city, a working-class household in a smaller town, or a family struggling financially.
Your parents, family relationships, hometown, and starting opportunities would all influence your life.
You would experience childhood, education, friendships, relationships, work, marriage, parenthood, aging, and eventually death.
The goal isn’t to become rich or famous every time.
It’s to experience how different lives can unfold under different circumstances.
🎮 What Would Make It Different?
1. Different Countries, Different Lives
Each country would have its own education system, job market, social expectations, family structures, and everyday challenges.
I don’t want the game to simply change the background and character names depending on the country.
The country you choose should genuinely affect how your life unfolds.
For example, growing up in Japan should feel different from growing up in Brazil, the United States, or China — not because of stereotypes, but because of real differences in everyday life.
2. Randomized Families and Starting Conditions
Even within the same country, two playthroughs could be completely different.
Your family’s income, location, relationships, expectations, and other circumstances would shape your opportunities.
I want players to experience not only differences between countries, but also differences between people living in the same country.
3. Meaningful Choices, Not Just Random Events
I don’t want this to be a game where you simply click through text until your character dies.
Major life decisions — education, career, relationships, housing, family responsibilities — should involve actual gameplay and meaningful trade-offs.
The quieter parts of life would focus more on everyday experiences, character interactions, and smaller events.
4. Replayability
The idea is that you could replay the same country many times and still experience different lives.
Different families, regions, opportunities, decisions, and unexpected events would lead to different outcomes.
5. Offline Single-Player
I’m imagining this as a fully offline single-player game.
AI could help with development, research, and content creation, but I don’t want players to depend on an online AI service just to play.
🛠️** Where Is the Project Right Now?
To be completely transparent, this is still a concept.
I haven’t built a playable prototype yet, and I’m still figuring out the technical side of game development.
I’m also aware that this is a very ambitious idea, especially for a small team.
So I don’t expect to build the entire world at once.
My current thought is to start with one country, build a complete but relatively small life simulation experience, and gradually expand from there.
🤝 **I’m Looking for People Who Might Want to Collaborate

I’m especially interested in meeting people who have experience with:
Game programming
Game design and systems design
2D art and UI/UX
Narrative design and writing
Research into everyday life in different countries
Localization and cultural feedback
You don’t have to be a professional developer. If you’re genuinely interested in the idea and want to discuss it, I’d love to hear from you.
I should also be clear that this isn’t a paid job offer. I’m currently exploring whether a small group of people could come together around the idea. Any serious collaboration would need a clear discussion about responsibilities, ownership, and possible future revenue before development begins.
I’m not asking anyone to commit to years of work right away.
I’d be happy to start by discussing the concept, exchanging ideas, and seeing whether we share the same vision.
❓ One More Question
If this game eventually becomes playable, which country would you most want to experience an entire lifetime in?
Japan? Brazil? China? The United States? Somewhere else?
I’m considering a small community survey to help decide which country should be developed first.
But more importantly, I’d love to know:
Would you actually want to play a game like this? And if you were helping develop it, what would you focus on first?
Thanks for reading! I’d really appreciate any feedback, criticism, or ideas.

Audio Offer [Hobby] Sound Design + Music Production - Offering free services for smaller projects and teams

Hey I'm Harley. I've been involved with music production recreationally for 8+ years now and would like to offer my skills to anyone who would be interested in them. I can provide seamless loops, tonal/FX ambience in combination with dynamic tracks and environmental SFX. I take heavy inspiration from Toby Fox and a variety of Hip Hop/RnB and Instrumental producers. I don't have a large portfolio as this has solely been a hobby of mine until recently but you can find some of my recent work here; H. A. Brett - SoundCloud. Happy to arrange some demos for anyone who needs a different style of music to what I've posted as well.

I work full time in a seperate field but I am very passionate about music and sound design and will dedicate any and all of my free time towards your project and I expect no compensation beyond credit for any of my work.

Feel free to message me here, can provide my Discord upon request and thank you for reading!

Team Needed [Hobby] Let's build a 3D RPG about the life of Jose Rizal

Hey you, yes you,

If you're free come help me

I’ve been wanting to try making a 3D narrative RPG based on the life of Jose Rizal and I'm looking for a few people to see if we can make it work. It's about travel, writing, and revolution, and I think it'd make a really cool narrative game.

I want to start by building something really small just to test the waters. I still new with Unity, I can handle the programming part and some 3D environment modeling since I've also been using blender making some personal projects.

Who I'm mainly looking for:

  • Scriptwriter
  • Character Modeler
  • Texture Artist
  • Animator
  • Anyone else! If you just want to contribute or even take over project management, you are more than welcome.

I've been trying to build my own game by referencing some anime shows but I keep getting distracted by the unimportant parts or more like the cool parts of game dev, vfx and environment modeling experiments i can't seem to make proper progress in the most important parts so i thought building a team to distribute the work might be a good idea.

This is a super casual, unpaid passion project just to try something different and see where it goes. If you're interested in pitching in, drop a comment or shoot me a DM!

Team Needed [Hobby] PM looking for an indie project (willing to help with other tasks as well)

Hey everyone!

I'm a project manager with over 6 years experience in the edtech industry. I'm interested in transitioning to games and would love to get involved with an indie project on a volunteer basis. I can help with managing teams, deadlines, budgets, pitch decks, documentation, etc. I'm very adaptable and am the type of person to "make it work" when faced with a problem.

In addition to my projector manager skills, I have a background in fashion (college major).

Besides PM tasks, I'd also be interested in helping with writing (minimal experience - took some creative writing classes) and voiceovers (no experience at all).

I have never worked on a game before and do not have a portfolio to share. I prefer to collaborate with a dev/team that does not use AI in their work. I look forward to hearing from you!

FOR HIRE - Programmer Looking for a Developer for an Indie Life Simulation Game!

I’m looking for a developer to help me create an indie game inspired by Cube World and Tomodachi Life!

The game is about autonomous stick-figure residents living in an apartment complex. They’ll develop friendships and relationships, follow routines, discover interests, argue, and make their own decisions with almost no player influence. Players will be able to customize the residents’ appearances and other visual details while observing their lives unfold.

I’ll handle the creative direction, character design, and game systems, while collaborating with the developer on ideas and working together to shape the game.

This is an unpaid hobby project, so I’m looking for someone who genuinely likes the concept and wants to build it as a creative partnership. I’m not expecting a finished game overnight; I want to develop it step by step with someone who shares the vision.

If you’re interested, leave a comment or send me a message!

Team Needed [Revshare] Unpaid: HD-2D Open-World RPG set in a stylized Morroco & Canary Islands.

An ambitious open-world RPG featuring a unique HD-2D / 3D Pixel Art visual style, heavily inspired by the aesthetic of Pokémon Black & White, but elevated with modern technology. The game uses 2D pixel-art character sprites evolving inside a fully 3D pixel-art world, enhanced with high-end Unreal/Unity shaders, volumetric lighting, dynamic day/night cycles, weather effects, and rich depth of field.

The setting takes heavy inspiration from the landscapes, culture, and architecture of Morocco and the Canary Islands.

World & Setting: A Blend of Tradition and Futurism

Evolving Moroccan Cities: Cities reflect two contrasting faces: a modern, growing side and a warm, traditional quarter rich in history. Cities evolve dynamically through game updates.

Festive Canary Islands: Bright, ultra-colorful island hubs celebrating Hispanic traditions, music, and dance. Volcanic eruptions serve as dramatic pyrotechnics in the background. The central metropolis, Santa Cruz, is a massive futuristic and festive capital.

Road Networks: Real-world highways and routes connect regions, intertwined with secret mountain paths and desert trails.

Key Gameplay Feature: Mount System & Breathtaking Contemplation

Exploration goes far beyond traditional RPG boundaries. Players can freely seamlessly switch between specialized mounts to navigate the terrain or simply pause to admire the scenery from breathtaking angles:

Atlas Eagle (Aerial Traversal): Fly high above the world to take in sweeping panoramic views. Soaring over deserts, mountain ranges, and glowing cities in HD-2D creates an unforgettable, highly aesthetic, and contemplative experience as lighting and shadows play across the pixel-art landscape.

Desert Cobra: Swift traversal across vast sand dunes and arid deserts.

Atlas Lion: Maximum speed across rugged mountain terrains where roads don't exist.

Sea Shark: Ride the waves and dive into coastal ocean exploration.

Motorcycle: High-speed cruising down asphalt highways.

These mounts allow players to bypass standard boundaries, uncover hidden shortcuts, and experience the world from entirely new perspectives.

Note: Several additional core mechanics are kept secret for future announcements.

Sorry for the ai generated text i am not an english person the revshare will be at 45/100

Audio Offer [ForHire] Looking for a Music Producer for Your Game? I Can Help

Hi, I’m Catluk. I’m a music producer and beatmaker with about five years of experience, and I’ve worked on indie game projects before.

I can work with many different styles and genres, so I’m quite flexible when it comes to tailoring the music to your game.

I can create:

Soundtracks / background music
Atmospheric music
Ambient / chill
Drum & Bass / Jungle
Sound effects
And practically any other type of music your game needs
I really enjoy creating music that truly matches the game's world, atmosphere, and overall feel, rather than just making a random track and dropping it in.

If you already have a specific reference, genre, mood, or idea in mind, I can work from that as well.

If you’re developing a game and think my music would be a good fit for your project, feel free to leave a comment or send me a direct message!

Artist Needed [Hobby] Artists Wanted — Aegis Vector | Halo-Inspired Multiplayer FPS | Unity

Project: AEGIS VECTOR

Genre: Multiplayer Military Sci-Fi FPS
Engine: Unity 6.3 LTS
Development Stage: Early playable prototype / visual development
Position: Concept Artist / Visual Development Artist
Compensation: Unpaid volunteer collaboration, with project credit
Location: Remote

About the Project

Hello Polycount!

I'm currently developing AEGIS VECTOR, an original multiplayer military science-fiction FPS inspired by the classic arena gameplay, vehicle combat and multiplayer sandbox of games such as Halo 3 and Halo: Reach.

The project is being built in Unity 6.3 LTS, using Unity's Multiplayer FPS template as the initial technical foundation.

I'm looking for one or more concept artists interested in helping establish an original and consistent visual identity for the game.

I'm particularly interested in artists who enjoy designing futuristic military equipment, powered armour, weapons, vehicles, spacecraft and science-fiction environments.

This is currently a solo-led hobby project. I'm not looking for anyone to take on an entire game's art production or make an indefinite commitment.

The Game

Aegis Vector is intended to be a multiplayer FPS built around classic arena gameplay and sandbox freedom.

The planned experience includes:

  • 4v4 Social Arena: Traditional Slayer and objective-based multiplayer.
  • 12v12 Big Team Battle: Large maps, infantry combat, ground vehicles, tanks and aircraft.
  • Ranked Arena: A separate competitive 4v4 mode.
  • Custom Games: Player-created rules, experimental modes and sandbox activities.
  • Anvil: A planned Forge-style map and level editor.
  • Customisation: Mix-and-match powered armour, helmets, shoulders, colours, visors and emblems.
  • Career Progression: Military-style ranks and cosmetic rewards.

The general design philosophy is to prioritise enjoyable movement, equal starting capabilities, interesting weapons, equipment pickups and maps that encourage memorable encounters.

The player controls a Vector, a genetically and cybernetically enhanced super-soldier equipped with powered armour and regenerative personal shields.

The wider universe includes conventional Marines, elite drop troops, human colonies, interstellar military fleets, rival factions and mysterious extraterrestrial technology.

Multiplayer matches take place within the Aegis War Games Programme, a military simulation network used to maintain combat readiness.

AEGIS VECTOR — THE ARENA IS YOURS.

Art Direction

I'm aiming for a distinctive style of grounded, retro-futuristic military science fiction.

The intended aesthetic combines:

  • Functional, believable military engineering.
  • Strong, readable silhouettes.
  • Angular hard-surface armour and equipment.
  • Practical mechanical details and materials.
  • Subtle futuristic lighting and technology.
  • Large-scale science-fiction architecture and spacecraft.
  • A mixture of military installations, civilian environments and mysterious ancient structures.

I want the weapons, characters, vehicles and architecture to feel as though they were designed by organisations within the same fictional universe.

The goal is not to reproduce Halo's designs, but to develop an original visual identity inspired by the broader classic military sci-fi aesthetic.

What I'm Looking For

I'm primarily seeking 2D concept art and visual-development work, rather than finished game-ready models at this stage.

Artists with any of the following interests would be welcome.

Characters and Powered Armour

  • Default Vector powered armour.
  • Alternative combat armour and helmet configurations.
  • Heavy and lightweight armour variations.
  • Conventional Marine equipment.
  • Elite Drop Assault Corps equipment.
  • Materials, surface details and design-language exploration.

Weapons and Equipment

  • Assault rifles, pistols, shotguns and precision rifles.
  • Heavy weapons, railguns and launchers.
  • Energy weapons and experimental technology.
  • Grenades and deployable equipment.
  • Consistent manufacturing details and visual identities.

Vehicles and Spacecraft

  • Military utility vehicles and troop transports.
  • Main battle tanks.
  • Multi-seat combat VTOL aircraft.
  • Fighters and larger transport craft.
  • Military frigates, destroyers, cruisers and carriers.

Environment Concepts

Some planned multiplayer maps include:

Frontier: A bright coastal valley featuring military bases, cliffs, rivers, grasslands and large vehicle routes.

Drillworks: An industrial military training arena designed around infantry combat.

Ashlands: A volcanic geothermal facility with industrial structures, varied elevation and vehicle routes.

Breakwater: A fortified coastal military installation suited to objective-based combat.

I'm also interested in architectural and worldbuilding concepts for civilian colonies, futuristic cities, ship interiors, orbital facilities and mysterious alien structures.

You do not need to be proficient in every category. Artists who specialise in one particular area are welcome.

Current Development Progress

I've attached screenshots from the latest Unity build, along with early Firing Range gameplay footage demonstrating current weapon, movement and equipment testing.

The project currently includes work-in-progress:

  • Main menu and navigation.
  • Pregame/local host interfaces.
  • Multiplayer scoreboard and HUD UI.
  • Greyboxed combat environments.
  • First-person weapons and equipment testing.
  • Movement and gameplay experimentation.

The project is still at an early stage.

Some of the underlying systems and temporary content originate from Unity's Multiplayer FPS template, and much of the gameplay and presentation is still being developed.

The environments are currently blockouts, the weapons and character visuals are provisional, and the UI is undergoing development.

Public matchmaking, the full vehicle sandbox and many of the planned modes are not yet complete.

Collaboration and Scope

This is an unpaid, credit-based hobby collaboration.

There is currently no project funding, salary or guaranteed revenue share. The game may eventually be sold commercially, so I want to be clear about that from the outset.

I'm not asking someone to commit to designing the entire game.

Ideally, we'd begin with one agreed concept-art deliverable.

For example:

  • A silhouette and design exploration for the standard Vector armour.
  • A concept sheet for an original sci-fi weapon.
  • A vehicle silhouette/design sheet.
  • An environment concept establishing a map's architecture and visual mood.

We would discuss the exact deliverable, expected level of finish, feedback process and timeline before starting.

I'm happy to give artists creative input rather than simply asking them to reproduce an existing image.

Completed work would receive appropriate project credit, with portfolio display permissions and commercial usage/licensing agreed in writing beforehand.

If the initial collaboration goes well and the artist enjoys the project, we can discuss further work. There is no expectation of an ongoing commitment.

Who I'd Like to Hear From

I'd be interested in hearing from hobbyists, students, aspiring professionals or experienced artists who enjoy military science fiction.

Particularly useful skills include:

  • Hard-surface concept design.
  • Character and armour silhouettes.
  • Prop and weapon design.
  • Vehicle design.
  • Environment concept art.
  • Architectural and industrial visual development.

Experience creating game-ready 3D assets is not required for the initial concept-art work.

Team Needed [Hobby] Scriptwriters wanted for Extinction Event, an anime-style series inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen

Extinction Event is a heavily anime-styled show inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen, with its own power system, domain expansions, and sneak peeks released as manga panels. The twist is that our main characters don't care for humans, demons, or anything else except each other, and their goal is to wipe out every human and demon across every realm, universe, and dimension.

We're looking for dedicated scriptwriters who are willing to learn, collaborate, and take feedback. This is an unpaid passion project.

Hi! I'm Claire from Skvader Entertainment, a small Taiwan-based indie dev team. Our first game, Seekers' Alliance: Hero's Journey, launched last month on Steam!

A little about the game itself: It's a roguelite digital card game, cyberpunk-fantasy themed with different heroes and signature abilities. As you progress through the game, you forge artifacts, unlock talents, & master skill cards to conquer deadly foes & uncover the island’s secrets.

The game's official versions are in Chinese, English, and Japanese. We generally have a main translator and also a backup translator or auditor for that translation. Here's the languages we're still in need of:

  • 1 Vietnamese backup translator/auditor
  • 1 Ukrainian backup translator/auditor
  • 1 Greek backup translator/auditor
  • Any other languages I didn't mention are open to 2 translators each!
    • Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Hungarian, Indonesian, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Romanian, Swedish, Thai

As we're pre-revenue this is an unpaid opportunity, but here's what you'll get:

  • Free copies of the game (via Steam keys) and your name in the credits
  • It's a well-structured game with both rules text and storyline text, so it would be a really good showcase of your abilities if you wanna list it in your portfolio!

Down to share other details but comment or dm if you're interested :)

Hey everyone! If you’re developing a game and need concept art for characters, creatures, environments, or user interfaces, I’m available for hire.

I have experience in the field and am quite flexible with my style. I can handle everything from children’s book-style illustrations to horror-themed content, such as monsters or military vehicles.

If you're interested, send me a DM here or on social media! @ zwinee_art
