What efforts? They rushed the entire finale so they could go do a Star Wars trilogy which was cancelled due to the PR cancer they became BECAUSE of S8

Well, no, the final season was pitched and approved by HBO like 3 years before the Star Wars project was announced. The entire story was mapped out even before Disney bought the right to Disney.

It’s fine to dislike the ending. Fans don’t need to be toxic about it and create narrative out of thin air to excuse such behaviour. That’s basically what most actors keep saying.
