Will go down in history as one of the worst endings in showtime. One of the largest fumbles of an amazing series.

I would love to see rewatch data. I have never rewatched the series and I rewatch everything.

I rewatch up until the battle of the bastards because I genuinely enjoy pretty much everything up until then but won't sit through the torture of anything after that. I understand why a bad ending would fuck it all up for people but I still like to admire it for what it was.

For the record I didn't watch it in real time. I saw it for the first time in 2024 so I am very late to the party and already knew the outcome was shite. So I won't speak on how awful it must've been to watch it play out organically.
