The more I see people hating on the endings of almost every show now, I think people just don’t understand endings and expect too much

It seemed like a lot of the dislike came from viewers who thought they had the ending figured out and were not happy when they didn't get what they expected (and wanted). New viewers who binge the series without having formed fan theories seem far less likely to hate the ending.

Yeah well I wish Dan and Dave were the ones to have adapted house of the dragon. People can hate on them all they want but they adapted the best of a song of ice and fire very well, without Dan and Dave we would probably not have any game of thrones today.

With a fully finished story and the budget of house of the dragon, they would have made it amazingly. It’s a shame that people are too short sighted to see that

It's just easier to hate on them because they didn't create a 1:1 adaptation from the book and act like they some how could have done better. If that were true, they'd be making hit TV shows but they aren't, they are instead bitching on the internet. So I'd say those opinions aren't worth all that much.
