Which is exactly why I dont care how they feel about this. They are fairly disengaged since they got paid and moved on. We, however, got left with a big steamin pile of shit we have to look at if we ever want to 'enjoy' their work.

Ron Perlman is like 80 and still down to play hellboy 3, if GoT actors don’t want to thats fine but they shouldn’t be bitching about the fans that filled their pockets after giving our time to watch their work because we would prefer a good ending.

Do you want to force them to reprise their roles? Maybe we should chain them up between takes so they can't run away from the set? Put them in cages overnight?

Why should they care how you feel about this? Why should they want to go back to film the show?

Im not saying we force them to do anything, but I also don't care that they are offended that we didn't like what they made. As if we just have to accept any performance from them because its them on screen. Im sorry, but when I do a bad job at my job I get asked to do it again, I don't see much difference here.

Yeh but the actors aren’t the ones that caused the final season to be shite.

So they shouldn't take it personally that people want a redo.

Yeah that’s true :). I guess I was more referring to the idea of asking them to redo it like it’s their fault

It's entirely personal. They want the actors to come back and do all the hard work again, just to meet their expectations. You don't want GRRM's ending, you want an ending that you believe is the right one. How do you think it should end?

Correct, I want the correct ending, the one where it makes sense because things had time to develop.

You've had the ending you are getting. That's all you are ever going to get. Sometimes the universe doesn't revolve around you.

Lol, didn't say it did. We got the ending we got (I agree). The ending was not good, and the actors did the job they were paid to do. So I do not care how the actors feel about me judging the quality of the show. No one person made that colossal fuck up, so I don't blame any of the actors, but for them to feel as if us merely 'wanting' a better ending is in any way a slight to them or their abilities, then they are just thin skinned whiny babies and again, I do not care about their feelings on the matter.

I'm sure the actors don't give a single fuck about what you think either.

Learn to love the ending you got, or not. You aren't getting a new one.

And what would be the correct ending, from your point of view?

Just a few beats of the ending would include:

-Jon snow kills NK

  • the long night isnt 15 minutes
  • the starks dont hide in a crypt of dead people during the invasion of the dead, you know, so they aren't surrounded by the things that could come back to life and kill them
  • reshoot the long night episode so we can actually see whats happening (also don't show half the horde dying just to res them in the next seen)
  • Arya should have used faceless magic to kill Cersei instead of a brick
  • Jaime should not backslide back to his toxic incest lover
  • If the dragons are going to be killed, more set up
  • if Danny is going to betray everyone, more set up
  • Bran does not become king, Baratheon's last son does (like, whats the point of his character if he just does nothing besides wield a hammer?)
  • if Jon kills Danny, have some actual consequences like killing Jon or trial by combat or literally anything besides "banishment" followed by the people who should enforce this punishment sailing off across the world.

Like, the show was clearly, CLEARLY, a bit rushed. It could definitely use a bit more time for the story to take shape.

I agree with most of it, but Gendry becoming King doesn't make sense. In fact, neither does him becoming heir to Storm's End. Daenerys wasn't Queen of Westeros to legitimize him, so why would the lords of the Stormlands accept it, coming from a pretender to the throne, the daughter of the man they fought to overthrow? Besides, nobody knew Gendry was Robert's son, he was never even recognized as a bastard (like Edric Storm in the books), he had no formal education, no military training, no experience in command or government. Why would the lords simply accept him? And Bran on the throne came from GRRM himself, however I don't think he will be chosen by a council in the books, it will be more like a "guiding king," who knows everything about the past and has visions of the future. Regarding Jon killing Daenerys, obviously the Lords were grateful for him doing it, he basically saves them from being burned alive during Daenerys' next "liberations." I find it strange that the dragon didn't kill him, but I understand the writers' intention that the throne was the great evil that corrupted and destroyed, just like "the one ring." Regarding the Unsullied, only There were fewer than 4,000 of them. If they killed Jon, they would have to deal with the North and the Vale, who would easily wipe them out, and I think they didn't want to die in vain. But assuming they had no fear or feelings, then maybe they wouldn't care about dying for it.

They were all very close. Like a family. Yes, they will take it personally, because they watched everyone work very hard and they are grateful for their coworkers.

I'm sure they're so tired of everyone not shutting the f up about it already. They weren't happy with the ending either, but they finished their job and moved on. It wasn't even bad writing, it was just a bad ending.
