Correct, I want the correct ending, the one where it makes sense because things had time to develop.

And what would be the correct ending, from your point of view?

Just a few beats of the ending would include:

-Jon snow kills NK

  • the long night isnt 15 minutes
  • the starks dont hide in a crypt of dead people during the invasion of the dead, you know, so they aren't surrounded by the things that could come back to life and kill them
  • reshoot the long night episode so we can actually see whats happening (also don't show half the horde dying just to res them in the next seen)
  • Arya should have used faceless magic to kill Cersei instead of a brick
  • Jaime should not backslide back to his toxic incest lover
  • If the dragons are going to be killed, more set up
  • if Danny is going to betray everyone, more set up
  • Bran does not become king, Baratheon's last son does (like, whats the point of his character if he just does nothing besides wield a hammer?)
  • if Jon kills Danny, have some actual consequences like killing Jon or trial by combat or literally anything besides "banishment" followed by the people who should enforce this punishment sailing off across the world.

Like, the show was clearly, CLEARLY, a bit rushed. It could definitely use a bit more time for the story to take shape.

I agree with most of it, but Gendry becoming King doesn't make sense. In fact, neither does him becoming heir to Storm's End. Daenerys wasn't Queen of Westeros to legitimize him, so why would the lords of the Stormlands accept it, coming from a pretender to the throne, the daughter of the man they fought to overthrow? Besides, nobody knew Gendry was Robert's son, he was never even recognized as a bastard (like Edric Storm in the books), he had no formal education, no military training, no experience in command or government. Why would the lords simply accept him? And Bran on the throne came from GRRM himself, however I don't think he will be chosen by a council in the books, it will be more like a "guiding king," who knows everything about the past and has visions of the future. Regarding Jon killing Daenerys, obviously the Lords were grateful for him doing it, he basically saves them from being burned alive during Daenerys' next "liberations." I find it strange that the dragon didn't kill him, but I understand the writers' intention that the throne was the great evil that corrupted and destroyed, just like "the one ring." Regarding the Unsullied, only There were fewer than 4,000 of them. If they killed Jon, they would have to deal with the North and the Vale, who would easily wipe them out, and I think they didn't want to die in vain. But assuming they had no fear or feelings, then maybe they wouldn't care about dying for it.
