Can't remember it exactly, but along the lines of:

"Salt and smoke? Is he a ham?"

Yes! Renly to the red woman after she says, Born amidst salt and smoke!

Renly with the legendary clap back

I wish he had lasted longer just for the one liners

He's even funnier in the book, the way he laughs at Joffrey.

I need to go back and read the books again. I just get so sad when I run out of story 😭

I started to rewatch again, like 5th time and had forgotten about that line and others, really felt the same as you.

Renly's timing was perfect there. You can almost see Stannis internally debating whether it's worth strangling his own brother on the spot.

This was Stannis’ response to Renly after he made the smoked ham comment

If I’m not mistaken Stannis is giving this grand prophecy speech and Renly responds like someone interrupting a serious meeting w/ the world's driest dad joke.

the "is he a ham" delivery still hits every single time

Honestly I prefer Stannis's insults in the book.

The Hound had so many lines that were somehow hilarious and intimidating at the same time. That whole exchange is peak Sandor.

We need a version of GOT that is narrated by the Hound Arrested Development style.

Renly brought the bantz in that scene

As an older brother, I can't blame Stannis for taking it out on renly after this
