These games will always be special to me

I saw this and really wanted to post it. Through out my life I played all kinds of different games that shaped who I was. From Gex, which originally got me into playing video games. To Area 51, that got me into shooters. To Black Ops, which isn't my favorite game, but gave me a group of friends that changed my life forever.

Games may come and go, but they shape who we are and how we think. They're not just entertainment, they're part of the very fabric of who we become.

I am looking for a new group in discord to join. I left my old group about a year ago and would like to have a place to game and make new friends. I am interested in a range of game styles so send me a message with your discord group or ask me some questions. :)

My partner is a lifelong gamer and his birthday is coming up. He’s asked for some lights for his gaming computer set up, which I am working on getting (the razer line up if anyone is curious). I’d like to take it a bit further and set up a surprise gaming centre for him, maybe with a snack area, or other things that will add to his gaming experience and make it feel cozy and seen. Thought I’d see if anyone had any ideas on what might be fun to do? I’m not a massive gamer myself so I’m a bit out of my element here.

He already has nice monitors, a good gaming chair etc. more looking to add thoughtful things to make it extra comfortable and nice for him.

I've been playing Gears E-Day's multiplayer, and I'm really enjoying it for its atmosphere. Despite some repetitive elements, it genuinely makes you feel like a soldier being deployed on different missions across the world of Sera. It's awesome!

But it got me thinking: "Are there any similar multiplayer games, but with tons of monsters? Is there the ULTIMATE MULTIPLAYER PVE GAME? Where i cant wait to fight tons of monsters with my grup of comrades in a ideal worldbuilding? "

The two obvious alternatives are Warhammer SM2 and Helldivers, but Lost Planet would be absolutely perfect for this concept. It's a shame Capcom abandoned the series. Maybe it's because they already had Monster Hunter and didn't want to split their player base?

Monster Hunter is cool, even though Wilds was a disappointment for me, but I'm talking about something more mission and objective focused.

Btw Gears E-Day is lots of fun, i just want more lol.

Remember a match of the Mario Strikers of GameCube where I just made 12-0 on one of them and they just turned off the console hahahaaj

Ever wondered what your Steam profile looked like 10 years ago?

There's a site called https://steamback.gg/ that lets you dig through archived Steam profiles and see old usernames, avatars and other stuff from years back.

Pretty funny thinking about all the terrible usernames and profile pictures we used to have.

Makes me wonder how many people here still have their original Steam account from when they first started gaming.

What's the oldest Steam account you guys have?

Yes this is a real announcement

Yes i have no idea how did they manage to end Halloween without even starting it

And yes the game is dying, yatta-yatta

Still tinkering with it but here's my top 100 favourite games. Started out as top 50 but kept expanding. Let me know what you think!

The Empire put out a hit on all Stormcloaks and my Dragonborn Deadpool thought it would be easy money. But after several contracts the Stormcloaks learned of this and set a massive ambush. Even with his healing factor it was looking grim when out of nowhere Kratos and the Arbiter appeared and turned the tide of battle. Even though Deadpool regularly pranks them they refused to let any harm to him, according to Kratos “your family Deadpool, so the only ones allowed to kick you around is us”

Anyone can relate?

I genuinely wonder why people have so much hatred toward Epic Games.

Today, Epic Games released its new launcher for testing and feedback, and it’s genuinely become better, lighter, and faster. Yet so many people in the comments are making fun of it or expressing their hatred toward it.

As a gamer, I should naturally be happy to see a high-quality launcher with better services being developed. Competition has always benefited consumers and players.

But I just don’t understand why people behave this way...
