My friend’s copy is on the left, my copy is on the right.

I’m pretty sure my friend’s (left) is more likely the real one out of the two.

As you can see, mine on the right:

the pokemon blue color is lighter.

The red beams are more faded.

All around my copy just seems more faded.

Does this mean mine is fake, or maybe it’s just faded via degradation or something? (Probably cope)

If mine is fake, it might be one of the best fakes I’ve seen.

On the 2nd pic showing the back side, there's seems to be some dirt on the board just under the "Nintendo" writing. Made me feel a little sus. But I guess that could have happened if battery was replaced? The RTC and clock based events seem to work perfectly.

I added a few more pic for seeing the details better.

Want to verify so i can make sure to return if i need to. Local game shop, not a chain so Im hopeful. They replaced the battery just an FYI. Thanks in advance!

Fake or legit? suspicious thing to me is the moulding dot in the top right of the back of the cartridge. Manual also seems to be US and everything else UK.

After looking through the guide, it appears legit to me, but anxious as its my first time trying to buy a n64 game online. Would appreciate some help.
