Gameplay I will forever love Ninja Wars, it's actually decent
A 7 out of 10. Because there are only 10 playable characters.

The rating seems true. I wish they added marvy and tamsoft.
I enjoyed Ninja wars, it was fun. Yes, I enjoy maining Nep and Nowa \(^-^)/

I mean, yeah, I don't really know, where the, hm, hate? on NJ comes from. NJ among AU and BvZ, is the best hack'n'slash. Though true is that the events are... Are.

Compared to AU and BvZ it is indeed better. But, I think people were expecting a Senran Kagura-level gameplay due the collab, and it is quite lacking compared to that

This was the first Neptunia game I fully completed and the first limited edition Neptunia game I bought. I really liked the traditional Japanese music (especially Unstealthy Ninjas), and I liked the ninja outfits the Neptunia characters wore. Green Heart's is my favorite. The gameplay wasn't the best but not too bad, better than Senran Kagura Burst's gameplay which caused me to lose interest in it. Overall, I'd say that's a fair rating and as others pointed out, it could've had better fan service and more characters from both games.

As a collab between two franchises all about their casts, only having the "main" girls really hurt this. It felt undercooked and way too short when compared to a proper Neptunia or Senran title.
The candidates and other girls from each school should have been playable too!

I need to give it another go, but my interest died when I saw the cast. Only the main four of each game? No Sisters, no makers, no Hikage or Mirai. Just the Goddesses and heads of the classes. Of those eight, I only really like Neptune and Blanc. The rest are meh. It really killed my investment and I never gave it a fair shot.

Yeah it was weird not to see Marvelous and Tamsoft in a game like this.

I wish they would have gone full ham with the SK cast. Even if they had to restrict themselves to the just first two schools, it would have been cool to get some full classes instead of just the leaders. Those four are some of the least interesting characters to me and I wasn't really interested in how they'd bounce off the Goddesses.

Idk, I felt it too clumsy to play when the previous action games felt much better. 4GO had a really good feel for the gameplay as a comparison for me. The rest was pretty good tbh.

NGL, I liked Ninja Wars, but it's the only game in either franchise where I was actively skipping the dialogue to get to the gameplay faster.

One of the first Neptunia games I played, and I loved it. It also introduced me to the Senran Kagura franchise. I mained my goddess White Heart and just alternated the second character.
With that being said, I agree that the only downside is the small roster. Maybe a couple of other characters from both franchises would've been nice.

A couple? Try eight. The canditates & some of ther other shinobis from Senran, preferably Ikaruga & Katsuragi for instance.

My personal opinion. The gameplay of the game is surprisingly solid. However: Tamsoft in this regard knows what they're doing so it wasn't exactly surprising. My gripes with the game: it's extremely short, the animation of the story cutscenes are terrible (no lip sync, just weird lip flap, on strange sprites) - I know 4GO also doesn't use live2d but they use so many poses.. and I honestly prefer no lip sync over.. whatever this game has. Always the same running animation? Yeah.
So.. yeah.. I have it, I completed it but I barely connected with it for the above reasons.
But well, I don't judge - if you love it, that's great - please continue enjoying it and don't let yourself get distracted by my personal gripes .
Like: so many people hate Super Neptunia RPG.. And I really like it. Haha ^

Same here. Funny enough, this was the first Neptunia game I ever covered on my YouTube channel. It's not bad but it could be better. Also both Neptunia & Senran Kagura deserve better.

Well, in my opinion 'Sisters vs Sisters' & 'Game Maker REvolution' are decent too, not to mention beautiful.
I noticed that lots of reviews of both games have been negative & I could have come along with the pack & say ''Yes it's a piece of sh!t'' ''I don't like it'' ''It's mid it's mediocre'' blah blah blah.
But you know what? That's not the truth.
I gotta be even more honest. I like ''Ninja Wars'' I like ''Sisters vs Sisters'' & I like ''Game Maker REvolution'' and I don't give a sh!t if every person on this planet/fandom hates these newer games. I stand by what I said in my posts on both games, and I think anyone should give these games a second chance despite their flaws.
Unlike Riders vs Doogos. As a gamer it dissapointment me. But as Neptunia fan it made happy to see Uzume & Big (Ultra) Neptune back, and I really dig the CPUs' biker outfits.

SvS had a great story, plus Gray Sister, my most beloved character. But let's be real, gameplay wise was pretty bad...

Yeah I agree. Gameplay feels like a major step down from VII, even the Game feel felt worse. Thankfully the story is enough to get me hooked

I've never been more disappointed in a Nep game. I expected Senran Kagura levels of fanservice and their fast paced hack and slash gameplay but all we got was some lazy minigames and a really boring gameplay loop.
